This is an elegy from the period of the Great Yu Dynasty.

To this day, almost all the people of the world still remember it.

The achievements of Shenzong, even if only the most important are mentioned, would take a day and night to recount. But if one must speak of the most beneficial to the people, it must be the construction of cities across the world according to the county system, and the Official Road connecting these cities. After all, to this day, the cities distributed among all provinces still play a huge role in resisting demons and protecting the people.

And among these cities, the most important is the Capital of Great Yu.

The construction of the capital took a total of twenty years from commencement to completion, mobilizing more than fifty million Martial Artists and laborers, using massive amounts of cast iron and refined steel, and reportedly utilizing up to a million catties of the most precious Mysterious Gold on earth.

One tael of Mysterious Gold is equivalent to one hundred thousand taels of silver. A million catties of Mysterious Gold equates to sixteen million taels of Mysterious Gold. If this were converted into silver, it would be unimaginable for a normal person to even fathom.

This is an invaluable magnificent city, and looking at the entire world, it can be said that there is no place comparable to it. Moreover, with its unique significance, saying that all people under heaven yearn for it is not an exaggeration at all.

The walls of cities across the world have regulations: county twenty li, prefecture fifty li, the Prefectural City one hundred li, Tao City one hundred fifty li, even the State City in each province is no more than two hundred li.

Yet, the city walls of the capital reached an astonishing three hundred li.

A hundred li of city walls is already extravagant. A city usually has four walls; all four hundred li of city walls are constructed with refined steel and cast iron. The manpower, materials, and financial resources expended in this are immeasurable.

What does three hundred li mean?

If viewed from above Capital Region Path, the entire capital appears as a giant black stone lying flat on the ground, the stone is square-shaped, with golden markings on all four sides. Without sensing its aura, merely using eyesight, it is impossible to clearly see how large this city truly is.

The initial design of the capital aimed to accommodate a hundred million people. After all, being the capital of the world, the capital of each province could accommodate thirty to fifty million people, so the capital must adequately surpass them.

After completion, there were some deviations from the original design intention, yet even so, it can accommodate eighty million people. Eighty million people are equivalent to the total population of the four prefectures of Hexi Path today.

The entire population of the four prefectures merged into one city.

This one sentence is enough to describe the grandeur of the capital.

From its completion in Great Yu Calendar 1520 to now in New Yu Era 1333, the capital has stood on Capital Region Path for nearly three thousand years. Through three thousand years of wind and sun, through three thousand years of worldly transformations, it remains as magnificent and grand as when it was just completed, indifferent to honor and disgrace.

From its completion to the present, the owners of the capital have always been the Great Yu Jiang Clan. The only difference between the Divine Dynasty period and the Holy Dynasty period lies more in the status of the Jiang clan than in the capital itself.

Even during the Holy Dynasty period, the status of the capital in the hearts of the world's people has still not changed. Everyone knows this city is the most precious treasure left to the Human Race by Shenzong.

Only in New Yu Era 1325 did things begin to change.

The mighty army of Great Jin passed Hulao Pass, crossed Lincang Path, and collaborated with Qinjian Villa in the east to completely destroy Great Yu. What is the Holy Dynasty of Great Jin? They are rebels!

Rebels occupying the capital is akin to a sky-falling disaster for the people of the capital. Since eight years ago, their resistance against Great Jin has never ceased, especially since the implementation of Jin Laws, the resistance from the capital's citizens has become even fiercer, constantly opposing Great Jin.

What can Great Jin do, unable to mitigate, they can only kill.
