Capítulo 1802: Chapter 867: Death Stalker
These Necromancers are just the appetizer; by the time their true intentions are discovered, it is already too late.
Those Zombies frozen in the ice become their living casting materials, and when countless points connect together, one massive Necromancer Magic Circle takes shape.
Darker than the night itself, the Dark Power begins to gather frantically with these Magic Arrays at its center.
With the help of these large Soul Gathering Arrays, the conversion speed of the Undead becomes much faster, and the coverage area is greatly expanded.
Especially in the center of these numerous Soul Gathering Arrays, the resentment spikes up to the sky, condensing into a massive black fog, from which countless tendrils stretch out and penetrate the surrounding frozen corpses.
These black fog tendrils have a strong corrosive effect, quickly turning the ice freezing these corpses into rotwater, being dragged back into the black fog.
As a large number of corpses begin to merge, a grotesque monster is chillingly taking shape.
The corpses pile and intertwine with one another, under an invisible and terrifying force, twisting together like knotted dough, the endless cracking and shattering of bones echoing.
All of these corpses have their heads facing outward, bodies facing inward.
Soon, a spire made of hundreds of corpses forms, amidst a series of even more horrifying sounds of twisting and cracking bones, blood-soaked bony claws stretch out from the clusters of these skulls.
These bony claws are thin and long, with ends resembling pitchforks, yet they possess the flexibility of human fingers.
Dense pairs distributed on both sides of the spire make it look like a huge centipede standing upright from afar.
As those black fog tendrils are absorbed into the massive body, the eyes of all the skulls open wide, showing nothing of humanity within, only a deep black that captivates the soul.
All the bony claws come to life, wildly thrashing about, causing the corpse centipede’s tower to crash down in a booming sound, cracking the thick one-meter ice surface with countless fissures.
Having gained vitality, the corpse centipede’s bony claws immediately start moving incessantly, entering an active state.
With claw-scraping movements, it effortlessly digs holes through the one-meter thick ice layer, and the slender bony claws stab out frozen bodies from beneath the ice as if spearing fish.
Compared to human bodies, it exhibits the enormity of its body; adult human corpses look like kittens and puppies speared on pitchforks.
Once these bodies are forked out, they are directly thrown onto the corpse centipede’s back, and as it crawls and writhes, amidst the snapping and cracking of bones, these corpses are swallowed, transformed into part of its body, making itself larger.
While fishing corpses from Lake Asen, the corpse centipede continues advancing, toward Mosantiel City.
A bright light appears not far from the corpse centipede, tearing through the night and casting its terrifying silhouette into everyone’s gaze, and a massive human figure steps out of it.
Who else could it be but the Light Spirit Witch, not in the state of the Totem Body?
Before her, the body type of the corpse centipede suddenly seems far less terrifying, at best resembling a giant serpent.
The Light Spirit Witch is the Laiserman Kingdom’s ace against the Undead, and the light radiating from her is a deadly poison to those Undead.
The black fog hisses with white smoke, dissipating rapidly.
Lines of black fog rise from the zombie bodies, turning to void, and each one falls heavily to the ground, reverting back to a corpse.
Even the graphically terrifying corpse centipede is not exempt; under the white light emitted from the Light Spirit, wisps of black fog rise from its body, disappearing into thin air, while those skulls keep thrashing, attempting to burrow into its body, producing an illusion of spasms.
It clearly shows a fear response, as the bony claws frantically slide, trying to retreat into the dark depths to evade the white light from the Light Spirit Witch.
Yet the Light Spirit Witch obviously locks her target on it, corpse centipede crawls quickly, but cannot match the Light Spirit Witch’s wide strides.
A white column of light gathers before the Light Spirit Witch, roaring toward the corpse centipede.
“Obliteration Void!”
Accompanied by a call devoid of emotional fluctuations, a massive black hole appears out of nothing in front of the corpse centipede, perfectly blocking the path of the white light column.
The black hole is like a bottomless pit connecting to another dimension; the white light column falls upon it and is swallowed completely, not even piercing through, with not a shred of excess light escaping.
Observing closely, one finds the white light column is not transferred away but neutralized by the terrifying negative energy contained within the black hole.
This is not the Shadow Energy fused with numerous impurities, but pure Negative Energy.
Completely opposing the Positive Energy of the Light Spirit Witch.
Between Positive Energy and Negative Energy, there is no saying one restrains the other.
They are opposing forces, forming a one-to-one relationship, mutually restraining each other, ultimately depending on whose strength is greater.
Apparently, this Obliteration Void is superior, completely swallowing the Light Spirit Witch’s light column attack.
