CHAPTER 139: SENIOR, I HAVE A FEVER... PLEASE SLEEP BY MY SIDE: PART-2

"Please... come and sleep with me."

Leo blinked, eyebrows raising slightly. He shook his head, "That... might not be a good idea."

However—

"Please, Senior... I don’t know if I’ll even wake up tomorrow..." Her voice wavered, almost pleading. "Just one last time... please."

Leo flinched at her words, "Idiot, what are you even saying?" he frowned, voice rougher than before.

She wasn’t in her right mind—her fever was twisting her thoughts. Still, he sighed deeply, giving in, and slowly lay down beside her.

"Come under the quilt..." she whispered, her voice low, almost dangerous in its tenderness.

Leo’s throat bobbed as he swallowed hard. He lifted the blanket and slid under, their bodies separated by only a few inches of warm space. He turned his head... and she was already looking at him.

Their eyes locked. Her lips curled into the faintest smile.

"I love you," Sakura breathed, her hazy eyes glowing as her slender fingers reached out, brushing against his chest, trailing lightly over his shirt under the quilt.

Leo’s body jolted at her touch, but he still managed a gentle smile. "I... I love you too. But you need to rest, Sakura... you need to sleep."

Sakura’s smile lingered, playful yet fragile. "Then... hug me."

Leo shook his head quickly, with a panicked expression. But Sakura’s lips curved downward into a pout. "What if I die—"

"Tsk..." Leo clicked his tongue sharply, unable to bear the thought. He immediately pulled her into his arms, hugging her tightly against him.

Sakura’s eyes widened, her breath catching, before melting into his embrace. Her lips curved softly as she buried her face into his chest, holding him as if she never wanted to let go.

Their bodies pressed together. He could feel her warmth seeping into him, her fevered skin damp with sweat. The faint scent of her hair drifted to his nose, sweet and intoxicating. The room grew quiet, except for the sound of their breaths, heavy and uneven, and the pounding of hearts that refused to calm down.

Leo had come here only to care for her, to comfort her, to make sure she was alright. Nothing more. Nothing dangerous in his mind. Yet...

She was crossing that invisible line, inch by inch.

"Senior~" she breathed, her voice sultry, laced with fever and desire. She leaned closer, her lips brushing against the curve of his neck, inhaling deeply, nuzzling him like a cat marking its scent.

"S-Sakura... calm down," Leo whispered, his voice strained, as he tried to keep himself steady. But she only clung tighter, her hands sliding around him, pulling him closer.

Her chest pressed firmly against him.... two soft, perky mounds flattening against his body, their shape impossible to ignore through the thin fabric.

Leo’s throat went dry.

Gulp.

He bent his knees slightly, instinctively trying to hide the reaction already betraying him.

But Sakura’s legs shifted, sliding over his, wrapping around his thigh. She hooked him closer, her fevered body trembling yet insistent as she tugged his hips nearer to her own warm, needy core.

"Sakura... just calm down... first," he muttered, though he wasn’t sure if he was saying it to her... or to himself.

"Senior... I love you~ I love you so much~" Sakura whispered into his neck, her warm breath tickling his skin, lips leaving trembling kisses across the side of his throat.

Leo flinched, his entire body shuddering. His face turned crimson, heat rushing through him suddenly. His trembling hands instinctively rose, meaning to push her back—but for some reason, his strength vanished. His arms quivered uselessly, and before he realised it, his palms were pressing against the soft swell of her chest.

"Hik!"

Sakura gasped lightly, her body jerking. Leo froze in absolute horror, eyes wide as he looked at her under the quilt. His hand was... His entire soul screamed at him.

But Sakura didn’t look angry. No, her lips curved into a sly smile, her flushed face tilted upward as her hazy eyes locked onto him. She glanced down at his hand, still pressed firmly on her breast.

"Bad boy~" she whispered in a teasing, seductive tone that made his throat run dry.

He tried to yank his hand back, but Sakura caught it with surprising firmness, guiding it right back onto her chest.

"Where are you going? Don’t leave me..." she muttered softly, almost pleading, as she pressed his palm more tightly against her breast. "Can you feel it, Senior? Can you feel how my heart races whenever I’m with you?" Her lips brushed against his ear as she whispered the words.

Leo could feel it. The frantic, rapid beating under his hand—it was racing, pounding, almost like a wild drum in her chest.

Sakura’s face reddened even more as her lashes trembled. "That’s how much I feel whenever you get close... Do you feel this too?" she asked, placing her small hand over his chest.

Ba-dump. Ba-dump.

His heart hammered furiously beneath her touch.

Of course, his heartbeat was racing—but for a very different reason.

Sakura smiled tenderly, her lips curving with a knowing glint. "You feel this too... ah..." she sighed as her fingers slowly caressed his chest through his shirt. Her touch trailed lower, soft and teasing, sliding down, inch by inch, toward his core.

"Sakura... that’s—" Leo stammered, panic tightening his throat.

"Shhh..." Sakura hushed him with a finger against his lips, her gaze burning into his. "I love you... ha... I really don’t mind at all... ha... ah... Let me feel every inch of you~" she whispered, her tone dangerous, dripping with fevered need that made Leo’s sanity snap like a string pulled too tight.

"Ahhh~"

Sakura moaned when his hands suddenly tightened around her breasts, squeezing hard, making her entire body tremble.

Leo’s breath came faster, ragged and hot. His hands refused to pull away—fingers kneading, rubbing, fondling her soft curves beneath the thin fabric of her nightshirt. He wanted to stop. He should have pulled away. But her body... it was too soft, too sweet, too dangerously good.

Sakura’s own hand slid downward, her trembling fingers travelling across his waist, then lower, until she brushed against the hard bulge pressing beneath his clothes.

Leo flinched violently. "Sakura!" he choked out.

He couldn’t stop himself. In a rush of fevered desperation, he suddenly pushed her down onto the bed, his body leaning over hers, his hands gripping her chest firmly as his mouth lowered. He pressed his face against her neck, inhaling her scent, kissing her skin like a starving man.

"Hmm~ y-yes... slow... ahhh~" Sakura moaned, her hands tangling in his hair as she arched into him. Her legs trembled against his, locking tighter, pulling him closer as her voice spilled in broken gasps.

Leo’s lips trailed along her neck, tasting the faint salt of her sweat, which strangely felt sweet on his tongue—like honey melting across his mouth. His teeth grazed her skin gently, then bit down just enough to make her flinch and tremble beneath him.

Her body writhed under his, shivering with every touch.

Leo groaned into the kiss, his hips jerking unconsciously against her thigh.

Sakura gasped, shivering, before wrapping her legs around him tighter. Her core pressed hotly against him through the barrier of clothes, the friction shooting a shiver through both of them.

Her lips broke from his only to whisper breathlessly, "Senior... more... I want more..."

Her fingers slid under his shirt, nails grazing his bare skin, dragging up and down his chest until he shuddered. Then lower, teasing his stomach, inching toward the waistband.

Leo’s breath stuttered, "S-Sakura... this is..." He wanted to say it was wrong, but his voice betrayed him, husky, heavy with desire.

"Let you... love me properly..." she whispered between gasps.

"I love you~"

"I love you too~"

Their lips brushed across each other’s faces in a flurry of shy kisses—forehead, cheeks, eyes, nose... every place except the one they both secretly craved.

Finally, their gazes met and lingered on each other’s lips.

Leo panted softly, his breath shaky. Sakura’s face glowed, her heartbeat hammering as she lifted her trembling fingers and touched his lips gently.

"I wonder what you taste like... my handsome Leo~" she whispered, her voice trembling with a feverish mix of love and desire.

Her lips parted slightly, her breathing faster. Leo’s throat bobbed as he swallowed, his own lips parting as he leaned down slowly, almost cautiously. Their breaths mingled, warm and unsteady, eyes fluttering shut as they descended toward each other...

Closer... Closer... Just a heartbeat away.

And then—

"..."

Sakura blinked. She didn’t feel anything on her lips. No warmth. No kiss. Just empty air. Her brows furrowed.

She was supposed to be kissed, right? So... where was it?

Slowly, nervously, she opened her eyes.

"Eh...?"

Leo was gone. The quilt had shifted down, leaving the space beside her empty.

"Senio—"

"Ahem."

The sharp sound of a throat clearing cut through the air.

Sakura froze, her entire body stiffening like stone. Her eyes turned slowly, dread crawling up her spine.

There, standing at the doorway—

A beautiful woman, arms crossed, lips curved into an amused smile.

A handsome man... towering, terrifying, holding Leo up by the collar like a helpless kitten, his murderous gaze fixed directly on her.

And Luna... oh god, Luna. Standing just behind them, her eyes narrowed, glaring at Leo with a stare so sharp it could cut steel.

Sakura’s lips quivered. Cold sweat poured down her forehead in streams, dripping onto her quilt.

"Hah... hah... W-Welcome back, Mother... Father..."

She stammered, forcing a shaky laugh as her smile twitched uncontrollably.

Her father’s grip on Leo tightened, veins bulging on his temple. Leo dangled awkwardly in the air, his arms raised like a criminal caught in the act.
