Chapter 132: Mini Mall
CHAPTER 132: MINI MALL
She watched the door close, as he stepped out of her room, sighing as it clicked shut.
Slowly, she turned back to face the room, taking in all of the details. The supporting lights that hung on the walls, the beautiful dressing table, the large bed, the smooth walls, the warm rug.
Technically, she had four incredibly stocked bedrooms at different parts of the city. Not scary at all.
She took slow steps to the bed, sitting gently on the bench even though she knew it wouldn’t give way under her weight.
She ran her hand across the cotton duvet on the bed, sighing at how soft it felt against her palm, unable to stop her mind from thinking of how much it must have cost.
Shaking the thought away, she got up from the bed, giving it one last look before heading to one of the doors in the room, hoping it was the closet.
Opening it, she realized she had been correct. Very correct. Not just about the fact that she had indeed opened the door she had intended to, but the fact that the he had indeed stocked the closet so well it looked like a mini mall.
Gowns had their own section, skirts, pants and tops of different kinds, many of them she couldn’t even recognize. And everything was arranged in its section was color graded. From the lightest color to the darkest. All arranged in different wardrobes that were painted white and had transparent doors.
On another end of the large closet were bags and boxes of different kinds, colors and brands, all in different tiny boxes. And in another end, were so many kinds of designer and foreign shoes she couldn’t dare to count, all sitting pretty and comfortably in different boxes, shining under the tiny lights the tiny bulbs in the boxes provided them with.
Her hands trembled a bit as she opened one of the drawers just beside her where she stood close to the door, eyes slightly shut.
The drawer she opened contained different kinds of creams she couldn’t recognize. Curious, she picked out one from the arranged stock, reading it’s label, her eyebrows furrowing in confusion.
It was sunscreen, and given the way the clothes were arranged, it was safe to assume that all the creams she saw inside were sunscreens.
She chuckled putting it back in its place, replacing the drawer.
"These guys wouldn’t be the death of me." She muttered, heading further into the closet. Her wolf itched to see everything in every drawer, but she had to hold her back, knowing they had limited time. She still had to get ready to go to the shooting range with Tristan.
She looked around, glancing at all the closets as her mind racked up ideas on what she could put on. Her eyes stopped at the stock of black and brown leather pants that hung scantily in one of the rectangular wardrobes, and then she made her decision.
She quickly went to it, opening the wardrobe. She flicked through the hangers, glancing at each of them, chuckling to herself as she wondered how he knew her size.
Her hands paused on one that was made with glossy black leather, had a very strong yet comfortable feeling, and had a high waist. She had instantly fell in love with even though she knew it cost a fortune. So she picked it out, placing it on the opaque glass table that sat in the middle of the closet.
Just as she placed the trouser on the table, it suddenly became transparent causing her to gasp, her eyes widening as she took in the magic unfolding before her eyes.
Numerous tiny bulbs in the table came up, lighting the inside, making it possible for her to see the stock of beautiful, shiny, and alluring jewelries and wrist watches.
She scoffed in utter disbelief, completely at loss for words.
"Will I ever finish putting on all of these? I don’t even need to put them on at the pack!" She said to herself.
Sighing, she put down the trouser on the reinforced glass- she checked- heading to the wardrobes where different kinds of tops and shirts sat pretty.
Without thinking too much, she pulled out a hanger that had a sky blue turtle neck crop top, and placed it on the glass table, shutting that wardrobe and heading to the one that had jackets in it.
She went straight to the part that had numerous leather jackets and coats, subconsciously caught in a dilemma of choosing between a normal black glossy leather jacket that would’ve matched her trousers perfectly, or a glossy black leather coat that would’ve made her look absolutely badass with the leather boots she had already made up her mind to put on as soon as she’d seen it.
She groaned, palming her forehead. "This is why you shouldn’t have so many choices." She whined, looking up at the two jackets.
Sighing, she decided to go with the jacket, since it wasn’t winter yet and she didn’t think she was interested in doing too much.
Pulling it out, she placed it on the table, peering through it to see if there were any jewelry she could muster the tiniest bit of courage to put on.
Just when she was about to give up, her eyes caught a collection of beautiful normal silver looking necklaces, that all had pretty pendants on display.
Her eyes swept across them, carefully observing each of the pendants. They settled on one that said damsel, causing warmth to pool in her stomach. Without thinking, she leaned down to the side where they lay, pulling out their drawer and taking out the necklace.
She raised it up, viewing it in the light, smiling softly as it glittered in her eyes.
Sighing she put it down and immediately begun to undress from the singlet and sweatpants she was putting on.
In few minutes, she had fitted into all of the clothing including, the jacket and necklace.
Heading to the shoe section, she opened the box that held the shoe she had admired, taking it out and putting it on, chuckling at how well they had gotten her size again.
With a quick spritz of perfume she couldn’t identify, she walked out of the closet, deciding to launch the wristwatches, bag and gown section later in the evening.
