Fierce Daddy: His Million-Dollar Sweetheart
Chapter 5: The Scumbag Sister’s Family
CHAPTER 5: CHAPTER 5: THE SCUMBAG SISTER’S FAMILY
"I don’t know her, Timmy, let’s find another restaurant for lunch."
Ivana Monroe’s rigid body moved. Holding Timmy Monroe’s small hand, she turned around to leave. Her downcast eyes concealed all the overwhelming hatred, like a volcano about to erupt.
She didn’t want to scare Timmy.
"Sister," Michelle Monroe called out in surprise.
Ivana Monroe frowned slightly.
Timmy Monroe distinctly felt his mommy’s hand tightening bit by bit.
Timmy didn’t cry out in pain; he looked at Michelle with hostility in his eyes.
Mommy never told him she had a sister.
Zachary Heston and the two elders turned around simultaneously.
Zachary Heston saw Ivana Monroe’s face, which time had scarcely touched, still beautiful and captivating. He suddenly felt an almost imperceptible trace of longing.
Michelle Monroe, standing beside Zachary, could sense his slightest change.
A flash of jealousy passed through Michelle’s eyes. Her hatred for Ivana ran deep to the bone. Why did this vile woman Ivana instantly draw Zachary’s attention the moment she showed up, after all the effort she put in to be with Brother Zachary?
Why wasn’t she dead? She shouldn’t have appeared.
"Ivana Monroe, bringing your illegitimate child here, what do you mean by that? Are you still clinging on? You want to snatch Zachary from Michelle? Do you have no shame? Fooling around outside and even giving birth to an illegitimate child, you want the illegitimate child to call Zachary father?"
Jean Shaw, Michelle Monroe’s biological mother, raised her voice, fearing others wouldn’t know that Ivana had fooled around outside and given birth to an illegitimate child.
The surrounding guests, all from the upper class, craned their necks to watch, pointing fingers at Ivana Monroe.
"I won’t let you bully my mommy."
Timmy Monroe suddenly broke free from Ivana’s hand, angrily rushed forward, and swung his little fist at Jean Shaw.
"Ouch! The illegitimate child is hitting people."
Jean Shaw intentionally let him land a punch. It wasn’t that heavy. She cried out pitifully, and when the little guy retracted his fist, Jean Shaw slyly and deliberately gave him a shove.
How could a little guy like Timmy be a match for the cunning Jean Shaw?
Pushed forcefully, he fell hard to the ground.
"Timmy." The suddenness of it all left Ivana Monroe no time to prevent it. Seeing her son fall with a thud, she hurriedly went over to pick up the little guy and checked him, finding a big lump on the back of his head.
"Does it hurt?"
"No, it doesn’t."
The little guy didn’t cry. His eyes were red, holding back tears.
Ivana Monroe’s eyes instantly turned red, her heart wrenched in pain, about to shatter.
"Jean Shaw, your heart is truly malicious, to treat a child so harshly?" She was trembling with rage; if someone was there to protect Timmy, she would have hurled herself at Jean Shaw without hesitation.
"I didn’t lay a hand on him. It was this illegitimate child, ill-bred, who started hitting people first. Even the heavens couldn’t stand by, and he tripped. That’s karma."
Jean Shaw felt quite smug. Did this little bastard think he could contend with her? Far off. In the past, even his biological grandmother contended with her and died at her hands.
Michelle, after all, was young, not crafty enough, failing to kill this little vile woman Ivana.
And now this vile woman even flaunts a little bastard in front of her.
She kept calling him "illegitimate child" over and over.
Ivana Monroe wished she could tear her mouth to pieces.
Ivana Monroe laughed wrathfully, "You call that proper upbringing? You dropped out of college to become my father’s mistress, giving birth to a bastard, forcing my mother to death for your position. Your bastard has learned from you, seducing my ex-husband, nearly killing both me and my child. If being lowly, unscrupulous, and lacking a bottom line is called upbringing, then yours and your daughter’s upbringing is unsurpassed."
