Fierce Daddy: His Million-Dollar Sweetheart
Chapter 594: The Company Is Sealed Off
CHAPTER 594: CHAPTER 594: THE COMPANY IS SEALED OFF
"Alright, let’s agree on this first. If I tell the truth, you can’t take back everything the Kane family has given me. You also need to give me another ten million."
Lucas Pierce cunningly confirmed once more with Leon Keane.
Leon Keane turned around and gave a firm "Hmm," staring directly at Lucas Pierce with his sharp eyes.
Under Leon Keane’s intimidating gaze, Lucas Pierce truthfully said, "You’re not the biological son of your aunt."
The old Mr. Kane was shocked, his eyes wide open. How could Jackie know about this?
"Lucas Pierce, what nonsense are you spouting? Have you lost your mind?" Leon’s mother was startled and shouted sharply at Lucas Pierce.
Lucas Pierce wasn’t afraid of Leon’s mother, as he was speaking the truth. After all, Leon’s mother won’t be Leon Keane’s mother anymore, nor will she benefit from the Kane family. She’d be a useless has-been. Why should he fear a useless person?
"I’m not crazy; I’m telling the truth," Lucas Pierce said. "Aunt, just admit it. Grandpa let slip while talking in his sleep that Leon Keane isn’t your biological son. You’re not as useful as that vixen outside; you couldn’t give the Kane family an heir."
Lucas Pierce’s words deeply wounded Leon’s mother. She crazily picked up the remote and hurled it at Lucas Pierce: "You little brat, I’ve given you so much money for nothing. It’s better to be kind to a dog than to you."
Lucas Pierce narrowly dodged it, infuriated by Leon’s mother’s words: "That wasn’t even your money; it was the Kane family’s money. If anyone gave it to me, it was the Kane family. You just had the cunning to bring Leon Keane back, letting him mistakenly believe you’re his birth mother."
The old Mr. Kane’s heart raced with anxiety. He came up to stroke Lucas Pierce, concerned: "Jackie, did your aunt hit you anywhere?"
Lucas Pierce shook his head: "No."
Hearing that his eldest grandson was fine, the old Mr. Kane angrily picked up an object again, aiming to throw it at Leon’s mother. But given his age, his aim wasn’t very accurate and he missed.
"You’re the useless one, the dog. If you could have children, would you need to raise someone else’s child? Would it have come to this?"
The old Mr. Kane was furious. If Leon Keane were her biological son, would he have treated Leon’s mother this way for another woman?
"Dad~"
Leon’s mother’s eyes turned red. Being scolded by the old Mr. Kane and called a dog, she couldn’t accept it. She’d given everything for them selflessly, and now when Lucas Pierce did something wrong, she couldn’t say anything. Yet the old Mr. Kane actually acted against her, cursing her with harsh words.
In that moment, Leon’s mother felt an overwhelming urge to cry uncontrollably.
Leon Keane’s handsome face turned pale. Although he had suspected the outcome, now that Lucas Pierce and the old Mr. Kane spoke out and seeing Leon’s mother’s expression made it real, it was still hard for him to accept.
After calling someone ’mom’ all these years, suddenly she’s not his mom.
The "Cursed Spirit Killing Amulet" on Leon’s mother made sense too. He wasn’t her biological son, yet she had been sent to an isolated island in F Country. It’s no wonder she resented him to the point of wanting his death.
"Who is my biological mother?"
Leon Keane asked Leon’s mother.
Leon’s mother suddenly let out a cold laugh, feeling betrayed by everyone. She sarcastically said, "Let me tell you the truth! Your mother conceived you using despicable means, and after giving birth, she intended to use you to extort a huge sum from the Kane family. Unfortunately, she failed. Your father didn’t love her. Later, she abandoned you in a trash heap. It was I who picked you up. If it weren’t for me, you’d have died in that garbage, where would your life of a nobleman today come from? You should be grateful for my life-saving act back then, for raising you to adulthood and supporting you to become the president of the Kane Group."
In her heart, Leon’s mother mocked, looking at Leon Keane with pity. She would never tell Leon Keane that his biological mother was the woman Mr. Kane loved the most in his life. Even now, Mr. Kane protected that woman well; Leon’s mother herself didn’t know where she was.
When Mr. Kane left, he explicitly stated that he never wanted that woman to return to Ravenswood, because as soon as she found out, that woman would have to pay with her life.
She wanted Leon Keane to suffer and live in pain for his entire life. That was the price for Leon Keane’s betrayal, ungratefulness, and betrayal to her.
Leon Keane felt as if struck by five thunders, his expression frozen. Moments later, he shook his head: "I don’t believe it. My biological mother couldn’t be that kind of person. She’s absolutely not that kind of person."
Leon’s mother sneered: "It’s hard to accept, but your biological mother was indeed like that. If she weren’t, you would’ve been living in the Kane household long ago, gaining status as the child of the favored one."
After a pause, Leon’s mother cunningly said: "Since we’ve come this far, I might as well tell you. Do you know why your biological mother secretly gave birth to you? Because she was a hostess on call, specially serving men in bed..."
Leon Keane suddenly roared: "Shut up, I forbid you to insult my biological mother."
Leon’s mother was startled by his fury, but her hatred for him only deepened. She had painstakingly raised Leon Keane to adulthood, and suddenly she was inferior to a woman who gave birth to him by spreading her legs.
"I’m telling you the truth, whether you want to accept it or not," Leon’s mother replied.
Leon Keane’s fingers clenched tightly, his knuckles turning white. He gritted his teeth: "I will investigate the full story. If I find out you’ve done something disgraceful to my biological mother..."
He paused: "Don’t blame me for ignoring the grace of upbringing."
Leon’s mother was shocked and took two steps back. Seeing Leon Keane turn and leave, she furiously screamed: "You ungrateful little bastard..."
Lucas Pierce ran after him, blocking the elevator: "Leon Keane, the ten million we agreed on, give it to me now!"
And take Leon’s mother away; he had no intention of supporting an idle person.
Leon Keane’s dark eyes glistened with hostility as he coldly laughed at Lucas Pierce: "Just wait."
After speaking, he harshly shoved Lucas Pierce aside.
Lucas Pierce slammed against the cold wall, howling in pain. The old Mr. Kane rushed over upon hearing his grandson’s cries, and seeing him on the floor, was heartbroken. Despite his age, he hurried over to help Lucas Pierce up.
"Jackie, what happened? How could you be so careless?"
"It wasn’t carelessness. It was that Leon Keane... When he saw Leon Keane take the elevator down, he added angrily, "That bastard pushed me."
Wait a minute, why did he feel that when Leon Keane said "wait" before leaving, it wasn’t about waiting for the money, but something else?
Leon Keane couldn’t be trying to cheat him out of that ten million, could he?
Damn! That bastard, he’s going to be the death of him.
The next day.
Lucas Pierce went to the company and saw all the Little Microgold employees standing outside.
"Why are you all standing outside? It’s already past nine, why aren’t you at your workstations?" Lucas Pierce angrily scolded the employees.
"President Pierce, the company has been sealed."
