Fierce Daddy: His Million-Dollar Sweetheart
Chapter 6: Don’t Bully My Mommy
CHAPTER 6: CHAPTER 6: DON’T BULLY MY MOMMY
Jean Shaw’s past disgrace was publicly revealed by Ivana Monroe, and Zachary Heston was here too. As an elder, did she have any face left?
"Changhai, after my sister died, I selflessly took care of this family, never once mistreating Ivana. But now this child not only fails to remember my kindness but also blames me for her sister’s death."
Jean’s demeanor changed instantly. Just a moment ago, she was like a shrew, calling Timmy a bastard. Now, she acted as if she had been gravely wronged.
Tears came effortlessly to her eyes, as if she were very aggrieved, very sad: "Ivana, you can hate me, but I beg you not to transfer that hatred onto Michelle. She is innocent."
"The reason Zachary divorced you was because of your promiscuous lifestyle, wasn’t it? Coming back pregnant with a bastard? Tell me, which man can accept his wife fooling around and raising someone else’s child?"
"Michelle and Zachary truly love each other; they fell in love in college. If it weren’t for your interference, Zachary should have married Michelle six years ago. Now that they have finally become a couple, please don’t sabotage them. I’m begging you, please, okay?"
In a few sentences, she twisted the truth and shifted all the blame onto Ivana Monroe.
The surrounding guests, just moments ago, were privately calling Jean a shameless homewrecker. Now, some began to call Ivana a thankless wretch, a schemer.
Zachary remained expressionless; each of Jean’s words was like a needle piercing his heart.
The bastard Ivana was protecting was like an enormous green hat, making him the laughingstock of everyone.
Zachary raised his hand to embrace Michelle, speaking coldly: "Ivana, we’re finished. Even if you got down on your knees and begged me, I would never forgive you."
Ivana was trembling slightly, angered by these two shameless and audacious people.
"Jean Shaw, it’s a pity you never became an actress in this life. You could win an award for playing the hypocritical stepmother so well."
Without looking at the fuming Jean Shaw, Ivana continued to Zachary, "You’re overthinking it. I wouldn’t even bother stepping into the shoes Michelle’s used."
Before Jean Shaw and Zachary could react, Timmy Monroe’s protective voice took the lead.
"Old witch, bad man, you are not allowed to bully my mommy. I’m not a bastard. My daddy is the greatest hero in the world. If he finds out you’re bullying my mommy, daddy will..." The little guy paused for a moment: "He’ll make you go bankrupt, make you lose everything."
The little boy’s puffed-up face was incredibly cute, and everyone around couldn’t help but laugh.
Children speak without reservation. Even if the little boy was bragging, the adults would only see it as him protecting his mother.
This way of protecting his mommy made the child even more endearing.
Ivana embraced the little guy, a bit surprised. When had this little guy learned to boast?
But her heart felt warm.
Jean Shaw, being scolded, looked genuinely like an old witch, with her aggrieved face: "Little bastard, who are you calling an old witch?"
Michelle immediately sneered, "Who is your father? Do you dare to say it?"
Timmy Monroe raised his little face, "Look at how handsome I am. Bad woman, do you really think you’re worthy of knowing who my daddy is?"
This child was excessively clever, causing Michelle to be ridiculed in return.
Looking closely at the child’s face, Michelle had to admit that the child’s appearance was stunning, even more handsome and adorable than child stars on TV.
Back then, she sold Ivana’s first night to an old, unattractive man. How did she end up having such a good-looking child?
People around also felt that Timmy Monroe was a child kissed by angels.
How come this child’s appearance seemed a bit familiar? Had they seen it in some rich list magazine?
Michelle, unhappy, said, "Not daring to say proves your father is an inferior nobody, irresponsible after fooling with your mom. Poor ignorant child, defending such a scumbag."
"No, my daddy is not a scumbag, he’s a hero." Timmy stuck out his neck defiantly.
At this time, a man entered everyone’s sight, exuding an air of nobility. His sharply defined, handsome face was comparable to a leading man from a comic book.
"Hello, President Kane, here’s the key to your presidential suite." The hotel manager greeted him with a beaming smile.
Everyone around was astonished, looking between Leon Keane and Timmy Monroe’s almost identical, smaller face.
That child was not lying; his daddy was the most powerful man in Ravenswood, the untouchable CEO of the Kane Group... Leon Keane.
