Chapter 56: Moon Elf village
CHAPTER 56: MOON ELF VILLAGE
Rhys thanked her. Originally, he had planned to just go back into the beginner village, fuse more slimes with the slime spawner, and get another Ancient creature— another Ancient slime—if he couldn’t find anything else before reaching level 200.
But now, with the Divine Moon Turtle right in front of him, he no longer had to search. After undergoing the Rank Advancement Trial, he could easily bond with the Divine Moon Turtle—an Ancient creature in its own right.
Misty gave a soft nod... and then, without another word, she stepped closer, cupping Rhys’s face gently in both hands. Her silver hair shimmered in the faint Moonmist glow.
Before he could react, she leaned in—her lips pressing against his in a warm, lingering kiss.
Rhys froze for a heartbeat, then slowly closed his eyes, feeling the faint pulse of magic radiating from her touch. It wasn’t just affection—it was power.
After a long moment, she drew back, a faint blush coloring her pale cheeks.
"The Moon Fairy’s blessing... is now permanently yours," she said softly. "And with it... I give you my Moon Elf Village access."
Rhys tilted his head slightly. "Village access?"
She smiled faintly. "If you can reach the Moon Elf Village... it means the Moon Goddess herself has accepted you. And when that time comes..." her voice dropped to a whisper, "...I will marry you, under the silver moonlight."
Her body shimmered then, edges dissolving into radiant moonlight. The glow intensified until she was no longer standing there—only drifting motes of light remained, scattering into the breeze.
Rhys stood in silence for a moment, touching his lips with a faint smile.
A golden system prompt appeared before his eyes:

The moonlight slowly faded from the grove, leaving Rhys standing beneath the great silver-blooming tree. Somewhere in the shadows, the little Moon Turtle gave a soft pyuu, nudging his boot as if to say, Let’s go.
Rhys chuckled. "Yeah... time to move. After all..." he glanced up at the clear night sky, "...I’ve got a village to find."
He already knew the way to the Moon Elf Village. It had always been part of his long-term plan to go there and obtain the Unique Class Item hidden within—but now, he had another reason entirely.
Lifting the little turtle, he placed it gently on his shoulder, then summoned Puddle back into his Heart Space. The Moonmist in the air was already beginning to fade, because he took away the spurce of it with, the Divine Moon Turtle.
Before leaving he already told him to stop using the Moonmist as the Little Tutle nodded and then he stopped releasing the Moonminst from the plant on his Shell.
And with that, Rhys turned toward Moonmist Heart City, ready to apply for his Rank Advancement Trial.
The trial could be applied for at the Class Awakening Hall. The first floor was reserved for Class Awakening, while the second floor was for Rank Advancement.
Currently, Rhys was Rank 0, which translated to levels 1 through 100.
Though before heading there, he made a detour to the Tamer’s Guild. It was the primary hub for Beast Tamers—where one could purchase skills, equipment, and special items related to taming and caring for beasts.
There, Rhys sought out a specific item: the Beast Storage Ring.
This was a special piece of equipment for Beast Tamers who lacked the Heart Space skill. Normally, Tamers with Heart Space could store their bonded beasts directly within that magical space. But those without it—and other classes with beast companions—had to rely on storage rings instead.
The Beast Storage Ring functioned much like a pocket dimension, able to hold beasts safely in stasis. Many adventurers used it for pets or temporary companions they couldn’t carry with them everywhere.
For Rhys, it was the perfect solution for his newest Ancient companion—the Divine Moon Turtle. Sure, he could keep the little turtle on his shoulder most of the time, but the creature was rare and valuable. If anyone recognized what it was, they might try to steal it—or worse.
Besides, the Moon Turtle wasn’t just an animal. Its shell housed a small bluish pasture of moonlit plants, an enchanting garden in miniature. It was safer to keep such a treasure hidden away until he completed his Rank Advancement Trial and gained a second bond slot to officially tame it.
He purchased the Beast Storage Ring for 1,000 gold coins. This one had 10 meter sqaure space—more than enough to hold the turtle until the time came to bond with it.
But its is really expensien as 1 gold coin is Ten Universal credits at exchange platforms, Universal Credits or UC the currency of Prithvi, which if Rhys compare with his previous world it would mean 100 USD.
Rhys slipped the ring onto his finger and, with a faint flash of silver light, stored the Divine Moon Turtle safely inside. A soft pyuu echoed in his mind as the bond of trust between them remained warm, even if it wasn’t yet official.
"Okay then... time to wreck the Trial." Rhys cracked his neck, rolling his shoulders as he stepped into the long queue.
The line stretched on for over a hundred people, all waiting to take the Rank 1 Trial. This rank advancement was considered fairly common—after all, the average level of an adventurer in the this world hovered around Level 400. Many had already advanced past Rank 1 into Ranks 2, 3, or even 4.
Still, Rank 1 was the gateway. Once unlocked, the difficulty of further trials increased sharply. Talent and preparation became far more important than brute force alone. That was why so many people still approached Rank 1 with a degree of seriousness—it was the first real step toward standing among true elites.
