Find a Troubled Girl after leaving the Guild
Chapter 46 - 45: Hall of Order
CHAPTER 46: CHAPTER 45: HALL OF ORDER
Relieving the Tumult of Ten Thousand Spirits, Li Ang took a gentle breath; thanks to the temporary Energy Source, the amount of Magic Power needed to activate the Secret Technique was less than half of what it used to be, making this time effortless.
As his ranking in The Soul Apex climbed higher, it had been a long time since he had clashed with the armies of ordinary forces. Rarely having a chance to bully the weak, he felt that the victory came a bit too easily.
This group of Imperial Army troops mainly relied on that peculiar bow cannon at the ship’s bow for its damage against the Star Soul; otherwise, they wouldn’t have survived Eden’s attacks.
Picking up the megaphone, he shouted at the remaining Imperial Soldiers, "You are all captured now, lay down your Weapons."
The soldiers hung their heads in dejection as medical officers in the cabin came out to set their dislocated limbs; some were carried on stretchers, and few could move normally.
It took some effort to sail four ships together. Afterward, Li Ang’s large ship turned back to capture people from the previously immobilized ship.
All Soldiers were gathered onto one ship, its Military Equipment and Spirit Core in the Power Furnace were taken out, leaving the ship to be towed forward by Li Ang’s large ship, which was piled high with fairly intact Equipment and Magic-guided Guns seized from the other ships.
Only Commander Dou Ding was left on the large ship, whom Li Ang tied up in the cabin before heading to the bow.
Releasing the surrounding Wall of Ice, Eden flew near the large ship, and Zoe jumped directly onto the deck.
"Wow, Li Ang, you really... I mean, how did you do that, it’s just..."
Zoe was like a little kitten overwhelmed by too many toys, extremely excited, struggling to organize her words, so she opted for action, giving Li Ang a strong hug as if that was the only way to express her happiness.
She had never seen a Flying Airship before, let alone this sci-fi-like Magical Flying Ship. Clad in her little leather boots, she ran around the ship several times, touching everything she could and fiddling with the Magic-guided Cannon, shouting in surprise when pulling the trigger to fire a shell.
The ship being towed behind was quite far and most soldiers had lain in the cabin, while Zoe, wearing a Helmet and Equipment, would not be easily recognized or identified by gender, so Li Ang let her go wild.
She returned spiritedly with a Magic-guided Gun in her hands, asking, "Is this ship ours from now on? I think those cannons on the side look very powerful. Next time we run into a Two-legged Flying Dragon or something like that, I want to use this to fight!"
"No, this ship only looks strong. Our future ship must be even more powerful than this."
"Wow!" The young girl was full of anticipation, though somewhat disappointed she couldn’t use the Magic-guided Cannon to fight Two-legged Flying Dragons.
Li Ang laughed, "If you want to use the gun turret to attack Flying Demons, you’ll have plenty of opportunities. Two-legged Flying Dragons often attack Flying Airship routes in groups."
"That’s great!"
Zoe energetically shadowboxed, "Dare to throw me into the Bloody Red Land, I’ll make them pay when I see them next time."
The young girl asked again, "When will we have our own ship?"
"No rush, after registering the team, we’ll check Helm Isle, but to build a ship, we’ll probably need to earn a bit more money."
"Money?"
The young girl fell into thought.
She had spent time outside Satus Island as a child, and had read her mother’s random books on trading and money, but she didn’t really grasp the concept of purchasing power.
"Can’t we exchange those beautiful stones in Xiaohan’s body? They’re so pretty, I can hardly bear to part with them."
"To get the ideal ship, they might still not be enough."
"Money..." Zoe thought for a moment, then softly asked, "Where in this world has the most money?"
"Bank."
The young girl nodded but said no more, seemingly lost in her own thoughts.
"There’s something I need to mention."
Li Ang said to Zoe and Eden, who was flying nearby the bow, "We’ll need to take a little detour."
"Huh? Why?"
Zoe had no objections and simply asked for the reason.
"These guys," Li Ang pointed to the Flying Ship and those Imperial Soldiers, "we can’t take them to Frost Heaven Island; their best place is the Guild’s Hall of Order."
"What’s that place?"
"Simply put, it’s where prisoners are caught and held."
The Sky Knight Guild, as the current proponent of order in the Various Aerial Realms, also has the military strength to maintain order.
The highest power body of the Guild, the Knight Resolution Council, is responsible for revising laws and electing administrative personnel, composed of the top four Celestial Team Leaders and the top ten individual Sky Knights, with a Speaker selected to preside and represent.
Besides the Knight Resolution Council is a special agency called the Order of the Sky Knights, responsible for judicial and supervisory work.
It can be said to be the most special Sky Cavalry in all the sky, with numerous members and outstanding average strength, whose elite prowess rivals members of the Celestial Group.
And at larger Guild offices, there also are Order Halls established by the Order of the Sky Knights, which can be seen as police stations.
After explaining the Hall of Order’s positioning to the young girl, Zoe pouted, "So there are people meddling in sky affairs too, better not end up catching me one day."
"Hey, what’s on your mind that you’re already treating them like imaginary enemies? Why are you already thinking about being caught?"
Li Ang tried to pinch her face, but she dodged with two quick jumps and then made a playful face.
So, Li Ang set the Magical Flying Ship’s course towards the nearest Hall of Order location.
Zoe didn’t mind; she found everything she saw curious and interesting, while Eden agreed to secure these people first before considering anything else, as it might concern Zoe’s future safety.
After setting the direction, Li Ang had Zoe return to Eden’s back, while he went into the cabin and dragged Commander Dou Ding to the front.
"Alright, let’s have a chat."
"Chat, about what? I admit defeat this time, but it doesn’t mean the Empire fears you. The Empire’s rise is unstoppable."
"Where are you from, and why do you serve the Empire?" Li Ang asked, "If the Empire’s capital is Chalk Fortress, I’ve heard there are hardly any residents left there, it’s been barren for a long time. How did it suddenly rise?"
"The Emperor’s brilliance shines everywhere; all who resonate with it are willing to become part of the Empire’s glory."
"Where did he resonate with you?"
"My hometown, Vitum. During the Emperor’s tour, his demeanor and ideals greatly impressed me, making me realize what it means to be a Speriel. Our ordinary lives will contribute value to the rise of the Speriels."
"Oh, Craft Island? He’s traveled quite far."
Li Ang pondered on the term "tour." Typically, it should mean traveling within one’s territory, but is Craft Island Empire territory? He had never heard this concept before; in his memory, each island in the Ignis Sky Realm should have been independent territories.
In any case, the Emperor of the Empire seemed to have been plotting for a long time.
What exactly is his Power, and his true purpose? These ordinary officers would not know.
Commander Dou Ding began to repeat phrases about the Empire’s glory, so Li Ang left the cabin.
By now, the sky had already turned the faint glow before dawn.
Since leaving Satus Island, with all the chasing, countering, and dealing with captured Soldiers, much time had passed.
Satus Island was located at the southeastern corner of the Flos Sky Realm, also the most eastern of all aerial realms. Further east was the impassable Chaotic River Basin, and not far to the south was the Ignis Sky Realm. Compared to other islands, the Hall of Order in the Ignis Sky Realm was closer.
Following the sky map across several small and medium sky islands, at dawn, the Magical Flying Ship reached the route entrance between the Flos Sky Realm and the Ignis Sky Realm.
Li Ang let Zoe and Eden come on board to avoid causing a commotion due to the giant wolf’s appearance.
However, what Li Ang didn’t anticipate was that outside the routes between the two aerial realms, a massive number of Flying Airships were hovering in place.
At the route entrance, two groups were confronting each other. It was easy to recognize one group as members of the Order Sky Knight Corps from the standard Armor they wore. They were few, only five in total, standing on the bow of their medium Flying Airship.
When the Order Sky Knight Corps members noticed a new ship coming, the leader flew directly towards them on a single-person small Airship.
Upon seeing Li Ang, he immediately halted and landed on the deck, taking a few big steps forward and seizing Li Ang’s shoulder.
"Well, well, got you now, this time I can report back to the lady."
