It all happened in the span of three short seconds.

3.

A portal opened up in the space above the sun and Ayaana flew through the opening.

Instead of her usual black dress, she wore a much more moveable attire. Deep blue hakama pants and foot wraps with a sleek, sleeveless black shirt holding her chest in place.

Two compression armored sleeves were adorned along her arms, each of them bearing rows of plate-like scales all the way up to her armpits.

The portal hummed again, and Asherah emerged from it with the other generals of the Bright Legions close behind her.

Asherah was floundering behind her, trying to remind Ayaana to be mindful of something.

But Ayaana just raised her hand as she scoured the battlefield with her eyes- clearly uninterested in whatever she was trying to say.

2.

Ayaana''s eyes landed on Apophis and their pupils trembled.

Even with eleven minds, they couldn''t adequately make sense of what they were seeing.

Their son had a hole in him. A hole.

Abaddon gave Apophis the sin of pride for his 2,000th birthday. He hadn''t gotten physically injured ever since. He couldn''t.

But as they looked deep into his soul for the first time in forever, they realized that he didn''t have it. And his body was apparently afflicted with some kind of curse.

1.

Ayaana finally noticed that one creature was attempting to make a run for it already. Though with the speed of her mind, he may as well have been moving in slow motion.

Ayaana wouldn''t dare to even dream of letting him go.

"We''re doing it." Was all she said.

Asherah new that those words were reserved for her.

She nodded in permission, even though Asherah knew that Ayaana wasn''t asking for it. They were just telling her what they were about to do.

The girls'' forehead moved.

A gemstone protruded out from within the flesh and their eyes turned a deep orange no different from the sun.

The space directly around Ayaana had become disturbed.

It wavered like a heat mirage, and then suddenly everything was distorted, as the world was sucked towards Ayanna''s new gemstone.

Percival was around two feet away from a portal that he had conjured to escape from this very unwindable situation.

But somehow, he blinked and everything he saw was white. Just pure, empty white.

His eyes widened in surprise.

There was nothing. Nothing.

Everything as far as the eye could see, or the mind could perceive had been erased.

The universe had been reset to it''s most primal state that only the creator and his bride had likely seen before.

It was almost like a clean paint canvas. Ready and waiting for the bounds of possibility to be inscribed.

This was the void.

Not necessarily frightening. Nor dark.

Simply nothingness. A true absence that has been brought about by powers adjacent to the first Big Bang.

Percival bolted.

He began flying even faster than his wings would allow him, relying solely on speed to get him by.

Ayaana flew to their son. Her face softening and lip trembling as they touched his face.

Her words were as gentle as the nothingness around them.

"We should have brought you home sooner... Does it hurt..?"

Apophis didn''t necessarily liked being babied by his mothers, but they were billions of years old by now. They were pretty much set in their ways.

That is, if Chaos did not intervene and get him out of this hairy situation.

And Percival was cursing and praying hoping that she would.

''Come on, you old wench..! This isn''t the time for you to pick and choose when to-''

Percival didn''t sense a thing, but eventually he ran smack into a wall.

Given the fact that he was flying at beyond full speed, it was almost like a bug smashing against a windshield.

His head cracked open like an egg. Several bones broke and were pushed out of place.

His teeth were definitely in more pieces than they had been thirty seconds ago. And all of this without seeing what''d happened.

He fell, but his body hit the ground shortly afterwards. He thought he had been flying around in a space with no bottom, but this was basically just like walking on a tiled floor.

His body slowly stitched itself back together, but his headache persisted. He was beginning to see things.

Like a floating, animated lump of ham sitting over his head. It smiled at him and blinked it''s eyes with a child-like innocence.

"Do you know what we love about the void?" It asked in the voice of a child.

Percival growled and swiped at the lump of meat in annoyance. But when the morsel blipped out of existence, twelve more meaty morsels appeared around the demon.

"It''s a blank template. There are no laws or rules here, so that means that we get to make them all. Isn''t that fun!?"

"Yea!!"

"Fun! Fun!"

Cheers erupted form the other animated hams as they spun around Percival.

"Anything we want, we can do here! Like no gravity! Ever!"

Percival began floating upward against his own power.

"Or, it can rain cheeseburgers!"

Percival was hit in the face with the largest, most grotesque looking sandwich he had ever seen in his entire life.

"But that''s not all!"

The air was suddenly filled with childish music that Percival could see.

He could literally watch the sound waves and musical notes as they bounced across this bleak eternity for gods know how long.

It was impossible.

It''s implications were horrifying.

"Gah!"

Percival yelled out when one of the music notes turned into a spear and impaled his tail to the floor.

Next were his wings, arms, and legs. All to the tune of a song eerily similar to ''Baby Shark''.

Percival saw the original hunk of meat land in front of his face.

His smile had become full of sharp teeth, and his eyes dark and full of malice.

"Do you know? The old man designated this a forbidden power, so we don''t get any opportunities to use it. On some level, we feel we should thank you!

We get to have fun with the sum our greatest powers, and exact revenge on you in the cruelest ways imaginable too! Doesn''t that just make you smile?"

Percival didn''t get to answer before his skin was literally peeled away by an invisible force.

As he screamed, he noticed an echo filling his ears.

But it wasn''t an echo.

Underneath Percival''s layer of demonic skin, there were millions upon millions of ugly little copies of him. Each no bigger than the size of a young guinea pig.

He could copy himself but... not this much.

This was unthinkable.

"Shit..." They all said aloud.

His horrors were just beginning. And near the end, he would beg for the cute and cuddly animations to return.
