CHAPTER 359: DO IT ...LONGER!(MASS RELEASE CH 5)
For a long moment, Isiah said nothing, his gaze fixed on her trembling form on the ground.
Lexie held her breath, every fiber of her being focused on his next words, feeling as though the fate of their fragile connection hung in the balance.
The seconds stretched into an eternity, each heartbeat echoing loudly in her ears.
Finally, Isiah knelt down beside her, his hand gently lifting hers from his leg. He met her tear-filled eyes with a mixture of icy calmness and something deeper, something she couldn’t quite decipher.
"I won’t leave you here," he murmured, his voice cold and unwavering. "But this... this changes nothing between us, Lexie."
Her heart sank at his words, the weight of his indifference crushing her fragile hope.
Lexie looked into Isiah’s eyes for what felt like an eternity, searching for any hint of warmth or understanding.
Her own eyes glistened with unshed tears as she spoke, her voice fragile and filled with raw emotion.
"Then... I will... I will love you with all I can," she whispered, her words carrying a mixture of vulnerability and determination.
She held his gaze, silently pleading for him to see the sincerity in her declaration, despite his cold demeanor.
Isiah regarded her with a cold, dismissive gaze, his expression suggesting a mix of resignation and disbelief.
"Whatever," he muttered, his voice tinged with cynicism. "If you want to waste your emotions that way, then go ahead."
Lexie flinched at the callousness in his tone, feeling the weight of his indifference like a physical blow.
Despite the pain, she held onto her resolve, her heartache deepened but her determination to love him unwavering.
She knew she couldn’t force him to reciprocate, but she couldn’t deny her own feelings either, no matter how futile they seemed in his eyes.
Lexie raised her hand and delicately touched Isiah’s face with her fingertips, her touch gentle and tender as if he were the most precious thing on earth.
A soft smile graced her lips, though her eyes shimmered with unshed tears.
"Isiah," she said softly, her voice filled with quiet determination, "I will make sure you know what love is."
As Isiah moved to remove her hand, Lexie shifted swiftly, wrapping her arms around his neck and drawing herself intimately close to his chest.
It was a gesture filled with unexpected tenderness, her touch gentle yet determined as she began to pat his dark hair with affectionate strokes.
This display of affection was uncharacteristic of Lexie, and Isiah sensed a profound shift in her demeanor since her return to life.
He allowed her closeness, his own demeanor guarded but curious, observing her with a keen gaze.
Isiah knew Lexie well enough to recognize that something had changed within her, sparking a curiosity in him to see just how far she was willing to go.
Lexie’s arms tightened around Isiah’s neck, drawing him closer as she pressed her lips fervently against his neck.
It was an intimate gesture, filled with a passion and desperation that she had never shown before.
Each kiss was a silent plea, a declaration of her longing and determination to break through his defenses.
Isiah stiffened at the unexpected intimacy, his breath catching in his throat. He felt a rush of conflicting emotions—surprise, uncertainty, and a flicker of something deeper that he couldn’t quite name.
Lexie’s boldness unsettled him, yet beneath his stoic exterior, he couldn’t deny the stirring of something unfamiliar and unsettlingly tender.
He gently grasped her shoulders, attempting to pull away, but her grip remained firm, her lips lingering against his skin.
Lexie’s actions spoke volumes, challenging him to confront the emotions he had buried deep within himself.
Gasping for breath between kisses, she whispered in ragged bursts, her voice thick with emotion.
"I-I love you," Lexie gasped, her voice trembling with each word, her lips brushing against Isiah’s neck in feverish kisses.
She struggled to find her breath between desperate gasps, her confession pouring out in a torrent of emotion.
"I’ve always loved you," she continued, her voice thick with sincerity. "Even when you couldn’t see it... since we were kids... back in Delwias Island. You were always... always in my heart."
Each word was punctuated by kisses that conveyed her longing and devotion.
Lexie’s hands clung to him as if afraid he might disappear, her entire being consumed by the overwhelming need to express the depth of her feelings.
His hands instinctively moved to her waist trying to push her away , but he felt her warmth and trembling beneath his touch.
"Lexie," he managed to say, his voice husky with something he didn’t understand.
Lexie’s hands moved from his neck to his shoulders, her touch firm and yet trembling with vulnerability.
She pulled back slightly, her eyes locked onto his with unwavering determination.
"I want to show you," she said, her voice gaining strength. "I want to love you with everything I have. I want to kiss you until my lips ache for yours,"
She leaned forward, pressing her lips to his with a fierce tenderness, pouring all her longing and devotion into the kiss.
Her hands trailed down his arms, fingertips grazing his skin as she moved closer, her voice low and urgent.
"hold you until my arms ache from the weight of your love," she whispered, her voice trembling with emotion. "I want to be with you in every possible way, to share my life with yours, and to make up for all the time we’ve lost."
For a second, just a second, Isiah remembered the one time he felt truly loved by someone, the heat and the warmth seeping from Lexie’s body hypnotized him into going back to a past time where he was just a kid receiving love .
The one time his auntie loved him unconditionally when his parents didn’t, back on earth .
He thought that he forgot about this feeling, his body trembled slightly .
Isiah rested his shoulder on Lexie’s shoulder then said :" This thing ...this thing you are doing,...do it ....longer !"
