CHAPTER 266: CHAPTER 266: ENCOUNTER WITH A ROGUE (1)
"There’s nothing to talk about between us!" Ruan Pianran’s expression was cold, and after dodging several times, she grabbed Mo Tingting’s hand, which was trying to snatch her phone, and said icily, "If you run a lap outside naked, maybe I’ll consider deleting the video!"
Actually, Ruan Pianran learned this trick from Mi Jing. Last time, she said she sneaked into her sister’s house to catch her cheating, took some photos, and almost scared and angered her brother-in-law and his mistress to death. This was precisely what she tried just now, and the effect was indeed extraordinary!
"Ruan Pianran, don’t go too far. If you push me too hard, I’ll call the police immediately." Mo Tingting said through gritted teeth.
"..."
Ruan Pianran didn’t speak. She glanced coldly at An Mingyuan, who was hurriedly trying to extinguish the flames, then shifted her sharp gaze back to Mo Tingting.
Was this woman genuinely forced into this state by her, or was this her real nature, merely pretending to be harmless like a little lamb?
In the past, she always affectionately called her "Ruanruan Jie," but now she’s calling her by her full name, domineeringly, as if she had an affair with her boyfriend!
Ruan Pianran never had a good impression of Mo Tingting from the first time they met. Now that she was involved with An Mingyuan, she didn’t want to bother with her even more. Staying in this place for another second was pure torture for her!
Ruan Pianran turned to leave again, but Mo Tingting grabbed her once more, "You can’t leave, hand over the phone!"
Can’t leave?
Ha, what right does she have to order her around?
Ruan Pianran’s expression remained cold as she lifted her foot and stomped on Mo Tingting’s foot with full force, her anger uncontrolled!
"Ah!"
Mo Tingting screamed in pain, hopping on one foot. Seeing Ruan Pianran heading toward the door, she anxiously chased after her but couldn’t catch up because of the pain in her foot.
"Mingyuan, hurry and catch Ruan Pianran!" Mo Tingting, desperate, jumped back into the room and called to An Mingyuan.
"Whatever it is, we’ll deal with it tomorrow." The fire was out, and An Mingyuan casually grabbed the pants from the floor and put them on, then leaned back on the bed, speaking wearily.
"Tomorrow?" Mo Tingting was nearly infuriated by An Mingyuan’s relaxed attitude, raising her voice, "What if she uploads the video online? How will we face people in the future?"
"Ruanruan wouldn’t do that." After the recent chaos, An Mingyuan’s emotions were somewhat complex and hard to describe. His voice was low and his mood more sullen.
"You’re not her. How can you be sure she won’t do it?" Mo Tingting, not in a hurry to dress, crossed her arms and questioned An Mingyuan, lying on the bed.
"Because I know her!" An Mingyuan suddenly sat up, glaring at Mo Tingting irritably, "Is that answer satisfactory for you?"
At that moment, Mo Tingting’s shoulders trembled, clearly frightened by An Mingyuan’s reaction.
She pressed her lips tightly together, her eyes quickly reddened, and soon, tears streamed down her face as she cried, "Do you think I want to scream at you like a madwoman? If you like her and find me an eyesore, just be clear with me. I won’t stick around here!"
With that, Mo Tingting continued crying on the ground as if she had suffered great grievances, tears gushing out!
"Tingting, I..."
Mo Tingting’s tears made An Mingyuan’s frustration and impatience dissipate considerably. He quickly walked to her side, awkwardly patting her back, apologizing, "I’m sorry, my attitude was bad. Don’t cry. Seeing you cry upsets me."
"It’s because Ruan Pianran left that you’re... you’re upset and feel bad!" Mo Tingting accused through her sobs.
"Sigh, you’re overthinking." An Mingyuan’s gaze flickered, and he sighed.
"Will you break up with her then?"
"Probably." After a long silence, An Mingyuan nodded slightly under Mo Tingting’s tearful gaze, somewhat perfunctorily.
Although An Mingyuan hesitated, seeing him nod, the weight on Mo Tingting’s heart finally lifted. After all, he had been with Ruan Pianran for over ten years; their relationship was deeply rooted, and his parents liked her a lot too. So, it wasn’t impossible that An Mingyuan wouldn’t want to break up with Ruan Pianran. This had always worried Mo Tingting, fearing she’d just be a passing guest and not the heroine of his future life!
"Mingyuan, my foot hurts." Mo Tingting reverted to a pure and innocent demeanor, tearfully snuggling up to An Mingyuan.
"Let me see." An Mingyuan bent down, looking at the dent on Mo Tingting’s foot, knowing full well how angry Ruan Pianran must have been!
A flicker of complex emotion passed through his eyes. After a moment of silence, he lifted his head and said, "First, put on your clothes, don’t catch a cold."
With An Mingyuan’s help, Mo Tingting quickly dressed, then, supported by him, limped to the bed and sat down.
"I’ll get the ointment."
After a brief explanation, An Mingyuan left the room. As she watched his retreating figure, Mo Tingting’s gaze was focused and determined, knowing that this was the man she loved, and not even Ruan Pianran could take him from her!
The evening wind blew gently as Ruan Pianran, with her hair disheveled, wandered aimlessly on the street. She seemed dazed, like a soulless moving puppet!
"Hey, beauty, why are you out here alone at night? Where’s your boyfriend?" Near midnight, there were few pedestrians or cars on the street. Immersed in her own world, Ruan Pianran was suddenly interrupted by a drunken man sitting by the roadside, bringing her wandering thoughts back to reality.
"..." Ruan Pianran ignored the man and quickened her pace after glancing at him.
"Hey, don’t go! I’m not a bad guy. I just saw you seem down and wanted to keep you company!" The man, holding a beer bottle, chased after her, blocking her way. His lecherous smile made it clear he wasn’t a good person!
Scoff!
Ruan Pianran sneered inwardly, thinking, what bad guy would ever admit he’s a bad guy?
"Get lost!" Ruan Pianran said icily, her eyes filled with wariness and sharpness.
"Wow, so cool! I like your attitude!" The man whistled loudly, his eyes greedily fixed on Ruan Pianran’s face, exuding malice and desire!
"..." Faced with the man’s harassment, Ruan Pianran didn’t respond. She knew that the more she engaged with such men, the more excited they got, and the more obsessive they became. For this reason, she quickly turned around and briskly walked away.
"Hey, stop right there!"
Seeing Ruan Pianran turn to leave, the man chased after her. Such a stunning beauty made his imagination run wild and his heart burn with desire. How could he let her escape so easily?
