Chapter 76 Mrs. Pei, You Seduce Me
CHAPTER 76: CHAPTER 76 MRS. PEI, YOU SEDUCE ME
Nia Mitchell avoided someone’s gaze, sheepishly lowering her head.
"Have you remembered?"
Maxwell Peary’s hoarse voice rang in her ear, and his warm breath tickled her neck.
"So... should I sit up then? Huh? And why are you on top of me?"
Nia Mitchell suddenly realized what was wrong. Maxwell Peary was on top of her, which was why, when she sat up, she had pushed him off the bed.
But why would he be on top of me while I was sleeping peacefully?
Maxwell Peary’s expression didn’t change as he replied very seriously, "Because you seduced me."
Nia Mitchell was taken aback. Seduce you? My foot! What the hell kind of seduction are you talking about?!
"I was asleep, not drunk. Why on earth would I seduce you?"
Nia Mitchell had to defend her innocence; Maxwell Peary was clearly talking nonsense.
Maxwell Peary chuckled, then climbed under the covers and sat next to Nia.
"Would you seduce me if you were drunk?"
He turned his head to look at Nia seriously. Hearing him say that, Nia Mitchell frowned.
"Uncle Peary, you’re going off-topic."
Maxwell Peary raised an eyebrow. "Okay."
"You look absolutely ravishing when you’re asleep. I just wanted to give you a goodnight kiss."
He carefully considered his words, providing the most plausible explanation.
He would never admit it. After his shower, he’d put on his bathrobe and come out to see Rabina lying on the bed he’d slept in for years. Her small mouth was slightly open, her cheeks were lightly flushed, and a sweet smile played on her lips. The sight made his desire flare, his stomach tighten, and his lust surge. AHEM. He’d only wanted a passionate kiss to satisfy his craving when he saw her asleep, but Rabina actually responded to him in her sleep! He remembered that on their wedding night, she hadn’t even kissed him back.
"A goodnight kiss?"
Nia Mitchell seemed puzzled, breaking him out of his lascivious daydreams.
Would a goodnight kiss make her feel so breathless she thought she was drowning? Would a goodnight kiss make her sit bolt upright, completely awake?
Nia Mitchell touched her lips, then turned to glare angrily at Maxwell Peary.
"AHEM."
Maxwell Peary cleared his throat awkwardly. "Are you hungry now?"
Nia Mitchell shook her head. "I had dessert; I’m not hungry."
"But I am."
Maxwell Peary looked at Nia Mitchell with a mischievous glint in his eyes, leaving her momentarily stunned.
"Uncle, did you not have dinner? I can’t cook. If you’re hungry, you should either make some instant noodles yourself or ask the butler to—MMMPH..."
Maxwell Peary had no interest in listening to Nia Mitchell’s rambling. He reached out, pulled her to him, and used his lips to silence her ensuing words of concern.
"I only want to eat you," he said in a low, hoarse voice, and with a swift movement, he had Nia pinned beneath him.
"No!"
Nia Mitchell struggled, panic evident on her face.
"Uncle, please don’t, okay? It will hurt."
Pinned down like this, any fool would know what was about to happen.
Maxwell Peary gently brushed the stray hair from her face and pecked her nose affectionately.
"It won’t hurt again. I’ll be gentle."
Nia Mitchell shook her head, her face full of caution.
"Uncle, you said the same thing last night, but... but it still hurt."
Besides, it had made her sleep until high noon. Getting out of bed had been a struggle, and she’d ached down there for a long time. No, no, no, it was too scary! She had only just recovered a bit.
Maxwell Peary’s expression darkened. Hadn’t he been gentle enough? True, last night might have been a bit more... vigorous than planned. But having had a taste, Rabina was utterly exquisite. Was he really going to let such a delectable morsel, already pinned beneath him, escape tonight?
