Nora Northwood’s expression was indescribable, and her meticulously groomed eyebrows were pressed low.

She didn’t bring up the bracelet incident directly, after all, there were still many uncertainties.

The next day, as usual, she carried a thermal lunch box to The Sinclair Group.

If there was anything different, it was that Nora deliberately slowed her steps, and her peripheral vision seemed to be searching for someone.

"Madam, it’s really a blessing to have you with Director Sinclair!" Louis Hayes came over to greet her.

"You know."

"If I hadn’t found out myself, how long were you planning to keep it from me?"

"I didn’t deliberately hide it. Knowing you don’t like me interacting with Peach Bell, I figured since there wouldn’t be a next time, I might as well not tell you. I didn’t want to make you unhappy."

Nora lowered her eyes, her fine eyelashes casting a small fan-shaped shadow under her eyelids.

The curve of her lips seemed self-mocking, and her originally soft voice turned a bit icy, "Claiming to want to make me happy while doing things that make me unhappy."

Jasper frowned, intending to explain but realizing her words weren’t without reason.

"If you’re angry about this, I apologize. I indeed did not consider everything carefully."

"But the severity of the matter cannot be resolved with an apology. If you lied to me once, there will be a second time, or maybe this isn’t even the first. How am I supposed to trust you in the future?"

Nora believed that in this marriage, she had given her husband unconditional trust.

Therefore, she didn’t make a scene when she first noticed something amiss but waited until everything was clear before confronting Jasper.

However, his attitude did not satisfy her.
