CHAPTER 726: CHAPTER 726: THEY HAVE ACCOMPLICES

Mr. Shepherd’s reaction was so intense that even his subordinates could sense something was wrong. Jasper Sinclair naturally noticed it too.

If he lacked this keen insight, he wouldn’t be sitting at the top of The Sinclair Group.

Jasper leaned back leisurely, his scrutinizing gaze fixed on the person opposite him, "Let me guess, where is the woman you fancy now."

However, before he could make his guess, a voice full of hostility erupted, "You’ve gone crazy over women. I’ll have someone grab a couple for you right now, and you can try last time’s aphrodisiac again."

As he said the last two words, Mr. Shepherd emphasized them with particular weight.

Jasper continued unfazed, "You don’t want me to continue talking; you’re protecting her."

After a whole night of thrilling experiences, how could he not notice that this man particularly valued Yvonne Shepherd?

Since he valued her, he should also value Rachel Woodward.

Yet, Mr. Shepherd seemed unconcerned about Rachel’s fate.

Jasper speculated that Yvonne might not truly be part of The Shepherd Family, though he hadn’t guessed entirely right, he was close.

Just as he was about to mention Yvonne’s name, a man with a headscarf stumbled in from outside, "Boss Shepherd, something’s wrong!"

Immediately, the atmosphere became extremely tense.

The two people closest to Jasper reacted quickly, positioning themselves on either side of him, ready for a potential showdown.

Mr. Shepherd slammed the table, a cigarette clamped between his lips, and cursed, "Idiots, what’s with the panic?"

"The brothers under my command have all disappeared."

"Go find them! You, you, and you—go find these useless people and bring them back!"

He pointed to a few individuals near the door as he spoke.

Immediately, half of the people were dispatched, and after everyone left, the lounge felt much more spacious and bright.

Jasper thought: Nora Northwood wouldn’t return so quickly; therefore, only one possibility remained—Rhys Linden didn’t leave the yacht.

Considering this, his eyes turned gloomy.

When he spoke again, he deliberately shifted their focus, "Tonight, quite a few socialites are attending the banquet. Maybe your men couldn’t resist the temptation and decided to join in the fun."

None of the individuals here, taken individually, would qualify to attend a high-society banquet.

Jasper’s suggestion was not inappropriate.

Mr. Shepherd didn’t fall for his trick and immediately ordered his subordinates to retrieve the surveillance footage.

This action made Jasper realize that on this yacht, there were accomplices among them.

The situation suddenly became complicated. His first target was Jenson Sinclair.

Jasper thought that with Aegis Assurance absorbed by The Sinclair Group, his brother would remain calm for a while.

Time proved him wrong, deeply wrong.

By now, it was the dead of night, and Jasper knew he couldn’t delay any longer—the situation would only become increasingly uncontrollable.

Taking advantage of the moment when everyone’s attention was elsewhere, he elbowed forward and snatched a gun from someone’s grasp.

His speed was so fast that only a blur could be seen.

"Bang—"

Jasper fired at the whiskey bottle, and both the liquor and glass shards exploded outwards.

Someone’s eyes were grazed by the glass, causing them to writhe in pain immediately, clutching their face.

Although Mr. Shepherd’s eyes weren’t hit, his cheek was slashed.

He wiped his face with a hand, and the sight of the fresh blood was particularly striking.
