Lily vented her anger on a pillow, squeezing it in her arms, "Nonsense! It’s obviously shameless, knowing Jasper Sinclair has a family yet deceiving him. Isn’t that the behavior of a third party?"

Nora Northwood didn’t respond, contemplating: When is the right time to see Peach Bell?

Today is the third day as promised.

After settling Lily and Finnian Lawrence, it was already lunchtime, and the group moved their base from the living room to the dining room.

During the meal, Nora asked, "Brother Finnian, do you have plans this afternoon?"

"I need to go to the company in the afternoon, and then check into the hotel."

"Why not stay at my place?"

"The hotel is closer to the company. If Mr. Sinclair finds out I’m staying at your place, he might sell Serendipity Pavilion." Finnian joked.

As evening approached, Nora and Lily went to the hospital to see Peach Bell.

Jasper Sinclair lay quietly on the bed, receiving an IV drip.

Peach Bell pulled up a chair, sat by his bed, propping her chin with one hand, her clear eyes filled with affection.

Nora witnessed everything from outside the window, her expression as calm as a pool of spring water.

"Nora, why not just pull these adulterers apart!"

Perhaps Lily’s voice was too loud, startling the people inside the hospital room.

Peach Bell glanced sideways, meeting Nora’s eyes through a pane of glass.

Her gaze faltered for a moment, biting her lower lip, then she slowly stood up and moved outside the room. "Are you here to see Jasper?"

"What do you think?"

Peach Bell bowed her head and kept tugging at her fingers, speaking intermittently, "I... I considered your proposal. I don’t care about identity and status, as long as Brother Jasper is by my side."

Nora smiled faintly; she had anticipated this outcome.

"The chance for me to divorce him is only this once. Are you sure you don’t want it?"

Peach Bell hesitated for a moment, but then firmly nodded.

"You are truly devoted to him."

Lily couldn’t hold back, she stood boldly in front of Nora and said unabashedly, "Devotion is a good thing, but it needs to be on the right path. You knowingly kept Jasper Sinclair here although he has a family. Isn’t this disgraceful?"

Nora was always gentle; even if she lost her temper, her face might change, but she wasn’t harsh with her words.

But Lily was different, having mingled with Megan Underwood for a long time, her sharp-tongued skills were top-notch.

After a tirade, Peach Bell’s face showed alternating shades of green and white, like a changing face in a Peking Opera.

The man in the hospital room woke up and came out.

Nora instinctively glanced at his hand, noticing the needle had been removed, leaving a small red spot.

Jasper Sinclair’s first words were directed at Nora, "You and your friend, one only knows how to threaten with words, the other is sharp-tongued, no wonder you get along."

Lily was furious, disregarding his former role as chairman, she retorted, "How dare you talk about me? When you made Nora angry, you followed me around every day asking me to speak for you and reporting Nora’s schedule to you!"

After she spoke, she realized she might’ve let something slip.

Sure enough, Nora was looking at her with raised eyebrows.

But those matters were past, they were irrelevant!

What mattered was that Jasper Sinclair should not misunderstand them; they just wanted to expose Peach Bell’s vile nature.
