Chapter 874: You Have Separation Anxiety
CHAPTER 874: CHAPTER 874: YOU HAVE SEPARATION ANXIETY
In late November, Jasper Sinclair was discharged from the hospital.
During the light snow season, the entire city was covered with a thin layer of white, giving off an unreal beauty.
Nora Northwood delayed her work hours for several days in a row.
The comfort of the bed and Yvonne Winslow truly made it hard to leave.
"The location of Crimson Hill Villa is really well-chosen, it’s perfect for enjoying the winter snow scenery."
The man who had already finished washing up looked at Nora, curled up in the blanket, and a smile slowly spread across his lips, "I’ll take you to a resort someday, it’s even better for watching snow."
"Won’t it be cold at the resort?"
Everyone knew that Nora was afraid of the cold.
"No, there’s warm air in the car, and underfloor heating when we arrive; at most, it’ll be chilly for the few minutes getting out of the car."
While speaking, Jasper inched closer to the bed and playfully traced her nose with his knuckles, showing undeniable affection.
Nora became interested and asked, "When will you take me?"
"Give it another week. Once I get the company’s affairs in order, we’ll take a few days off and stay at the resort for a bit."
"Alright."
Seeing her eyes smile like crescent moons, Jasper felt a tickling sensation in his heart, as if a cat had scratched it.
Then, the man bent down and clasped her wrist.
"I haven’t brushed my teeth..." Nora mumbled, her words swallowed by a kiss.
After a deep kiss ended, her hand lazily rested on Jasper’s collarbone.
"Nora, do you want to come to the office with me?"
During the recovery period, the two had been together day and night, hardly separated for more than three hours at a time.
Now, the thought of being apart for an entire day made Jasper reluctant.
Nora pondered for a moment. Alone at home with nothing to do, and VJ had passed its busiest period.
Under Jasper’s persuasion, she nodded and crawled out from the bed to the bathroom.
They both went in one after the other, and Nora, looking puzzled, asked Jasper, "Why are you coming in with me?"
"I want to see you."
Nora: "..."
Yet Jasper did what he said, arms crossed, squinting at her.
Goosebumps appeared on Nora’s arms, and she asked, "Why don’t you go downstairs for breakfast first, and I’ll come find you after I’m done? This place is not that spacious..."
"The land beneath your feet is worth millions; how can it not be spacious?"
Nora was slightly at a loss for words.
Ignoring Jasper, she put on her headband, thinking to herself, after being together for almost three years, there’s nothing to be shy about.
At this thought, she realized their third wedding anniversary was approaching.
Unfortunately... Jasper’s memory had not recovered, so there was no need for commemoration.
Nora silently comforted herself, treating it as a new beginning.
Peach Bell had disappeared from their lives, making their relationship smoother than before.
Once she finished washing up, Nora moved to the vanity mirror to quickly put on some makeup.
Before she could sit down, a slender hand wrapped around her waist.
"Just now, you wouldn’t let me kiss because you hadn’t brushed your teeth. Can I continue now that you have?"
Jasper wasn’t going to give Nora a chance to say "no". His other hand was already cupping her chin, coming in aggressively.
Her lips and teeth were pried apart, tangled with Jasper’s, until she was almost out of breath before he finally released her.
"Jasper Sinclair, could it be that you’re having separation anxiety because of work?"
Nora asked, half laughing, half crying.
Generally speaking, only young children behave like this when they go to kindergarten.
