Ye Yuning replied via text: [I’m in the elevator already!]

Seeing her reply, a faint smile touched Xiao Linye’s lips. He then turned and got into his car.

Just as the car started, Ye Yuning emerged from the elevator lobby, carrying her small handbag and laptop bag. She was nibbling on a small cookie, her mask pulled down and hanging loosely beneath her chin.

She got in the car and immediately buckled her seatbelt.

But today, she’d been busy dealing with Qin Jinchuan at lunchtime, then rushed back to the studio for a meeting, not even getting a chance to grab a proper bite. Now, all she wanted was to quickly fill her stomach with a bowl of noodles.

"Good, anything works!"

Right now, any kind of noodles would do; they were filling.
