Everyone else laughed and started placing bets.

The most common bet was for half an hour.

Shawn Donovan typed furiously, laughing—

You guys overestimate James Grant; he’s like a different person playing games versus picking up girls! If you guys don’t know this, my brother does. Bro, who are you betting on?

James Grant also saw the group chat message and raised an eyebrow at Keith Donovan.

Keith Donovan, expressionless, typed—

When James Grant plays games, he truly doesn’t recognize anyone, treats everyone the same. I’m betting on ten minutes.

Evelyn Clayton saw them all typing away on their phones and guessed what they were up to.

Though she thought this behavior was childish, she didn’t expose it; she just followed the tutorial to get familiar with the game controls.

"Really not going to change?" James Grant lowered his voice, "Don’t get cocky."

Evelyn Clayton slightly raised an eyebrow, "You really don’t trust me?"

"It’s not that I don’t trust you..."

James Grant was about to explain when Keith Donovan hurriedly patted his shoulder, "It’s starting, you guys get ready."

"Game starts."

As the four big characters appeared on the screen, Evelyn Clayton and James Grant focused intently on it.

Everyone stood behind them.

James Grant took Evelyn Clayton into a tropical rainforest map, where the focus is on scarce bosses, all hidden quite well.

"You hide up the tree first, I need to deal with a boss, its venom will drain your health bar if it splashes on you."

"Okay."

Evelyn Clayton’s fingers moved rapidly, and the next second she flashed onto the tree.

He spoke loudly, but no one paid attention to him; everyone was watching James Grant kill the monster.

James Grant controlled his character, using a treasure to lure out the boss.

As soon as the boss appeared, he immediately switched equipment and shot it in the head.

The entire process took less than five seconds, leaving everyone stunned.

"Damn! That’s James Grant for you!"

"James Grant is amazing!"

"James Grant, how are you so badass at business, charming ladies, and gaming! Respect, man."

Praise poured in continually, but James Grant didn’t care; he turned back to the base of the tree to find Evelyn Clayton.

He glanced at Evelyn Clayton’s operation out of the corner of his eye.

She was carefully climbing the ancient tree. The tree vines were shaky, requiring excellent controls to avoid falling down.

"Don’t climb any higher, come down."

"Shut up, don’t interrupt!"

Evelyn Clayton held her breath in concentration and finally climbed to the top of the tree.

James Grant didn’t rush her any further, standing guard under the tree, while gathering some tools along the way.

Evelyn Clayton manipulated the character to stand at the tree top and picked a leaf.

Suddenly a beast descended from the sky, startling everyone.

"What is this?! Never seen this creature before!"

"Is this the hidden ultimate boss? I heard someone encountered a hidden ultimate boss before!"

James Grant hurriedly said, "Come down, I’ll catch you."

Evelyn Clayton pursed her lips slightly, "Wait a moment."

Wait for what?! James Grant frowned, about to speak.

Suddenly she drew her sword and at the moment the ultimate boss lifted its foot, she thrust the sword into its sole.

The ultimate boss’s health bar dropped to zero instantly, and simultaneously the system announced that YYYYYYY123 had received the grand treasure chest.

"The grand treasure chest! Only three people have acquired it since the server started, you can’t buy this with money!"

"That was amazing, did you all see what just happened clearly?"

"I didn’t catch it. Sister-in-law, do it again!"

"Can’t do it again, didn’t you see? Sister-in-law defeated the hidden ultimate boss, this level is cleared early."
