As for the Eight Kings, they remained passive observers. Acacia's very existence was an affront to the natural order of their world. In the original story, they had united to confront him, knowing he was a harbinger of planetary destruction.

But this time was different.

Midora had Acacia completely pinned down. There was no need for them to intervene. Besides, with the Dragon King of the First Continent already dead at Yuuki's hands, their forces were diminished.

So, the remaining Eight Kings watched from a distance, waiting to see how this monumental clash would end.

If Midora won, their intervention would be unnecessary.

If he lost, they would still make their move—though if Midora fell, their chances would be slim.

A colossal presence erupted from the earth beneath Yuuki's feet. The sheer force of it sent even the Wolf King Guinness leaping back, a startled growl rumbling in its chest.

The Wolf King let out a sharp howl, its eyes fixed on the cracking earth. It could clearly sense the arrival of GOD.

The Gourmet Solar Eclipse had come, and GOD had matured. But something was different. GOD appeared once every few hundred years. Besides the times it was captured by the Blue Nitro, the Wolf King was always the first to deal with it.

Guinness had witnessed the birth of GOD many times, but this was different. The aura was immense, far surpassing any previous incarnation. It was a power that completely eclipsed its own.

That was why Guinness was on high alert.

"This time, GOD is a complete, fully matured being, born from a fully prepared Earth. The previous ones were all immature,"

Yuuki explained. "Guinness, I'll need you to keep an eye on this thing for me."

Preparing GOD wasn't a problem for Yuuki, but he needed to prevent any other creatures from trying to steal a bite. He entrusted Guinness with guard duty.

Guinness agreed without a moment's hesitation.

The reasons were simple. First, Yuuki had a close relationship with Jiro—it was only natural to extend a favor to its child's friend. Second, and more importantly, it knew it was no match for this version of GOD. Its aura was too powerful.

The Wolf King was not afraid of death—none of the Eight Kings were. But it was not foolish. It recognized the overwhelming, unnatural power radiating from the newborn GOD. It knew, with absolute certainty, that it was outmatched.
