"You sure know a lot," An Ran said as she placed her backpack on the bed, not bothering to unpack. She picked up her lunchbox and followed Xiao Xiao out the door.

"It’s hard not to, you have no idea. Ren Shuang came in showing off her authority," Xiao Xiao spoke about the new roommate with obvious hostility.

"She came into the dorm imposing herself, saying this thing is some brand from her aunt, that thing costs so much, and telling us to be careful with her stuff. If anything’s damaged, not everyone can afford to compensate. By the way, that ’aunt’ she always mentions is actually Guo Xinyi’s mother. And supposedly, the relation is quite distant."

After saying that, Xiao Xiao sneered.

There were just six of them in the dormitory: Wang Xiaoyi and Shen Qi, both from mountain areas, An Ran and Xiao Xiao, who didn’t come from wealthy families. It’s easy to imagine how off-putting Ren Shuang’s behavior was.

"Seems like this Ren Shuang is even more domineering than Guo Xinyi," An Ran couldn’t help but sigh.

Although Guo Xinyi was the Guo Family’s eldest daughter and looked down on the roommates, she was rarely in the dorm. She hadn’t interacted much with them for half a semester.

Most matters were handled by Sun Beibei on her behalf. Even though Sun Beibei eventually got expelled, An Ran knew she had taken the fall for Guo Xinyi.
