Forgotten Love: Mr. President, Mrs. Fordham Has Rejected You!
Chapter 62: He Was Furious and Ran Off
CHAPTER 62: CHAPTER 62: HE WAS FURIOUS AND RAN OFF
"Aiden Fordham, we’ve already signed the papers. Leave."
She turned her head slightly again, actually, she cared a lot about this matter.
"Even if we signed, as long as I don’t want to let go, you’re still mine."
His tone was faint, yet it carried a chilling sense of control as he kissed her again.
She struggled, and he directly lifted her hands above her head, confining her. She bit him, the taste of blood filled her mouth, yet he didn’t stop.
As the robe’s strap was pulled apart, revealing an enchanting scenery beneath.
At this moment, his blood boiled, every cell in his body clamoring for her, only... her!
"Aiden Fordham, are you trying to... force me?" Her angry shout finally pulled him back to his senses.
Aiden finally stopped the deep kiss, bracing his hands on the edge of the bed, locking his eyes on her.
"You don’t want to?" He was puzzled.
"Yes, I don’t want to, please leave." Stella Grant quickly pulled the robe tight, covering the alluring sight.
His thin lips pressed into a line, after a few seconds, he spoke slowly, "Why?"
Stella’s lips trembled, "I don’t love you anymore!"
Don’t love!
Those two simple words doused the flame he had just ignited, shattering the budding affection he had begun to feel.
The next moment, he was enraged, landing a heavy punch on the bed, startling her.
"Give me another reason!"
A cool tear slid down the corner of Stella’s eye, yet, she laughed, "I don’t want to love anymore!"
Aiden looked at her, the corners of his long eyes were completely blood red, the anger on his face faded, replaced by an almost deathly tranquility.
Pain, disappointment, and... a faint trace of hurt that wasn’t easily noticeable.
He got up and walked towards the door.
"Bang!"
The room door closed gently.
Yet it separated two worlds.
Stella curled her index finger against her mouth, biting it hard to hold back her sobs.
She was just afraid of falling into the abyss once more.
...
The next day, when Stella woke up, Aiden Fordham had already left.
She moved slightly, a dull pain in her leg reminded her of what happened yesterday.
She sat up, her movements clumsy and slow.
A servant knocked on the door, bringing in breakfast, placing it on the table by the balcony.
"Madam, Young Master instructed that you have breakfast in the room."
Stella didn’t speak, just nodded.
After the servant left, she slowly hopped to wash up, then slowly moved to the wicker chair on the balcony to sit down.
The scenery of the estate was indeed beautiful, with a broad view and lush greenery.
She picked up the spoon, eating the porridge in small bites.
The warm food slid into her stomach, yet it couldn’t warm the chill in her heart.
As she ate, her eyes began to sting.
His tenderness indeed had a deadline.
Just... 2 days!
She had foolishly thought he was starting to treat her well.
How ridiculous.
Stella put down the spoon, having lost her appetite.
...
Top floor of the Fordham Group’s CEO office.
It was after one, and Aiden Fordham hadn’t eaten, he had been looking at reports with a stern face, a "don’t bother me" aura emanating from him.
The air pressure in the room was so low it could freeze someone to death, the secretary broke into a cold sweat delivering coffee.
President Jovan from Coronet Entertainment came to report but said something wrong and was immediately thrown out, his wig even fell off from the fright.
Leon Jovan saw Keegan Lindsey like seeing a savior and immediately bowed.
"Special Assistant Lindsey, help!"
Keegan asked what was wrong, he mentioned the dispute between two actresses over a role, which was really a headache.
The scriptwriter was backing down now, not caring, but the two actresses were in a deadlock, neither of them backing down.
After thinking for a moment, Keegan finally gave him an idea.
After hearing it, Leon finally showed a smile and walked away happily.
Regardless, this was something that Corinne Kensington had to be removed from.
Keegan carried a high-end lunch box and knocked, entering.
He cleared his throat, nervously finding a topic.
"President Fordham, Miss Kensington called again just now."
Aiden didn’t even raise an eyelid.
Keegan continued, "I guess it’s about the Kensington Family project, you stopped their cooperation a few days ago, they’re in a panic..."
"Ignore it." Aiden interrupted him, his voice flat.
After a pause, he added, clearly impatient, "Try to get her that script today, let her join the crew as soon as possible."
He seemed to have less and less patience with Corinne Kensington.
She always used favors to manipulate him, and this time’s incident with Melody Jewel definitely had ties to the Kensington Family.
Involving his bottom line, he could no longer show leniency.
"Okay, President Fordham." Keegan quickly agreed.
After settling Corinne’s matter, Keegan cautiously observed his boss’s face in the rearview mirror.
He carefully spoke up, "President Fordham, you left the estate so early today, Madam is injured, if her mood drops, she might not want to eat. That could affect her health..."
"Her?" Aiden finally spoke, his tone mocking,
"She said she doesn’t love me anymore, it’s the same whether she sees me or not!"
Keegan’s heart skipped a beat.
So that’s the crux of the problem! The boss is stuck in a dead end.
Keegan couldn’t help but laugh.
Aiden gave him a cold glance.
Keegan quickly gathered his composure and earnestly analyzed.
What women say about not loving sometimes means they love deeply. Madam started looking for you since she was 12, who else could she love besides you? Even a small sapling, after twelve years, could grow into a towering tree, its roots so deep, can they be pulled out easily?
Aiden’s fingers around the phone curled slightly, imperceptibly.
In a certain spot within his heart, Keegan’s words gently nudged.
It didn’t hurt, but it felt slightly different.
He stayed silent, but his expression visibly softened, Keegan knew there was hope, so he continued pressing his advantage.
"Madam is definitely just throwing a little tantrum with you!"
"Think about it, if she really didn’t love you, would she allow you to carry her downstairs?"
"Would she let you kiss her?"
"Would she stay with you for three years?"
Keegan: Nailed that rhetorical question! (Won’t you praise me?)
"Can you do those intimate actions without love? Is Madam that kind of casual girl? She didn’t even glance at Andy Lockwood, isn’t she head over heels for you? Do you really want to push her away..."
"Shut up." Aiden softly interrupted, yet his face had significantly relaxed, the previous coldness almost entirely gone.
He’s wavering.
He was obviously wavering! So, she may really... love him very much! This woman who says one thing and means another!
Keegan chuckled inwardly but remained serious outwardly.
"President Fordham, I think you still need to get Madam a crutch, or even a wheelchair."
"Think about it, her leg is inconvenient, what if she hops around the room, and there’s no one watching, and she falls? What if she rolls down the stairs... tsk!"
"Back to the estate!" Aiden suddenly sat up straight, his tone urgent, with a hint of an imperceptible panic.
