Forgotten Love: Mr. President, Mrs. Fordham Has Rejected You!
Chapter 94: Making the Fordham Group an Enemy
CHAPTER 94: CHAPTER 94: MAKING THE FORDHAM GROUP AN ENEMY
Corinne Kensington was terrified. She rushed over and blocked Helen Warren, desperately trying to explain herself.
"No! Aiden! It wasn’t Mom!"
"They used torture to force a confession! Melody Jewel was locked up by them for half a month! She must’ve confessed under duress!"
"Don’t believe them! Don’t let them take my mom!"
Aiden Fordham’s chest heaved violently, a ferocious storm swirling in his eyes.
"I don’t care who it is—if anyone dares hurt my people, they will pay for it!"
He suddenly shoved Corinne aside, anger erupting like wildfire.
This justice—he would personally fight for Stella Grant!
Helen Warren saw Aiden’s genuine rage and was scared out of her wits; she forgot all about her dignity, screeching hysterically.
"It wasn’t me, President Fordham! They’re framing me!"
"They just want to ruin your relationship with Corinne! That Stella Grant—she’s jealous! She doesn’t want you to marry Corinne, that’s why she’s trying to destroy my family!"
Corinne threw herself at Aiden again, grabbing his sleeve, sobbing and pleading with tearful eyes.
"Aiden, there’s no way Mom did this. Please, just believe her, okay?"
She turned and looked at Stella, her expression pitiful and vulnerable.
"Stella Grant, are you really this cruel? My family raised you for four years, and you want to bite the hand that fed you?"
"If... if it’s for Aiden, you can have him... I’ll let you have him. Just please—don’t take my mom away, okay?"
Then she wiped her tears away, weeping like a battered blossom.
"Heh."
Stella let out a cold sneer, staring at Corinne’s performance with utter disgust.
"Take your crocodile tears somewhere else—they won’t work on me. Take her away!"
She couldn’t be bothered to talk anymore and gave the direct order.
The bodyguards didn’t hesitate, grabbing Helen even more forcefully.
Helen’s screams and curses became even more shrill and desperate.
Just then—
Aiden’s phone rang.
He frowned, took out his phone, and glanced at the screen.
A message popped up, attached with a video and a photo.
He clicked on the video, watched only a few seconds.
Immediately, his entire face went deathly pale, turning ashen.
His grip on the phone tightened so much that his knuckles turned white, veins bulging on the back of his hand.
The air seemed to freeze.
"Wait!"
He jerked his head up, his voice hoarse, trembling with some inexplicable urgency.
"You can’t take her!"
The moment his words landed, everyone was stunned.
Just like that, the tide had shifted—no one saw it coming.
All this time, Andy Lockwood had watched silently from the sidelines like an outsider. Now, at last, he stepped forward.
Tall and commanding, Andy’s gaze landed on Aiden with icy intensity.
"President Fordham, you want to protect Helen Warren?"
He didn’t give Aiden a chance to explain. He turned to the bodyguards and gave them a command.
"Take her. Send her straight to the police station. Make sure Melody Jewel goes along, too."
The bodyguards followed orders and tried to drag Helen Warren into the car.
"I dare any of you to touch her!"
Aiden suddenly roared, his voice booming, hard as steel and unquestionable.
He stepped forward and blocked Helen’s way.
Behind him, Keegan Lindsey’s eyes nearly popped out.
The boss... What on earth was he thinking?
That woman was the one who hurt the lady, made her lose her baby!
How could he... How could he switch sides to protect that old witch?!
Has he gone mad? Completely mad!
Stella could barely believe her eyes.
She stared at Aiden, who had suddenly changed his mind and stopped her from punishing Helen Warren. What was he trying to prove?
What happened to all that murderous rage, his vow to avenge her?
How could it vanish just like that?
She stepped closer, standing right in front of him, her voice cold, trembling with suppressed emotion.
"Aiden Fordham, you... You’re stopping me? You want to protect the killer?"
"The killer who murdered our child?"
Aiden met her hate-filled gaze.
His eyes churned with pain and anger, mixing together—like knives slicing open his heart.
God knows how badly he wanted to butcher Helen Warren himself, to give her—and the child they never got to see—a reckoning!
But not now.
He had something more important to do, someone even more important to protect!
He clenched his fists so tight that the veins in his hand bulged, close to bursting.
Swallowing his turmoil, his voice came out cold as ice.
"Stella, I know you hate her. But let me handle this—I will make things right for you."
"She cannot be taken to the police station right now!"
Smack!
A crisp, resounding slap landed hard on Aiden’s face.
Stella’s hands trembled, her eyes bloodshot.
"Aiden Fordham! Do you even hear yourself?"
"This woman! She killed your child! And you’re still defending her—are you out of your goddamn mind?!"
She screamed herself hoarse, like a beast cornered and enraged.
A five-finger mark appeared on Aiden’s cheek, but his gaze remained hard and cold.
"Stella, let me handle her, please?"
Stella had already lost all reason.
"I am taking her today—let’s see you try to stop me!"
She waved her hand.
Six men in black surrounded Helen Warren, who was slumped on the floor.
Aiden’s face darkened.
"Keegan!" he barked, "Bring in reinforcements!"
"Today, anyone who tries to take Helen Warren on will be an enemy of The Fordham Group!"
An enemy of The Fordham Group...
Hearing those words, Stella felt all her strength drain away.
Using the entire Fordham Group’s power... just to protect the woman who hurt her for three years, who killed her child?
It was Aiden.
Her body swayed, she staggered back two steps, her face ghostly pale.
Something inside her chest felt truly shattered.
"Aiden Fordham, do you even remember what you promised me? Have you forgotten?"
He had promised her that if she and Corinne ever fought again, he would always stand by her.
But reality? It had slapped her in the face—again!
Aiden was silent, his heart burning with pain.
Andy Lockwood quickly stepped in, supporting her trembling figure.
"Stella, don’t be upset."
His voice was gentle, but carried a subtle hint of provocation.
"Maybe President Fordham has his reasons. Helen Warren is Miss Kensington’s mother, after all. Maybe he just doesn’t want to make things hard for her."
His words poured fuel on the fire, trapping Aiden right in the flames.
Stella forced herself to breathe, steadied herself, and looked at Aiden again.
"Aiden Fordham, do you really love her so much?"
"Just for her mother, you’d rather forgive the killer of our baby?"
Aiden saw in her eyes the frozen shards of a broken heart, and it felt like an invisible fist was clenched around his own heart, squeezing until it hurt like hell.
But he still forced out his reply, cold and cutting as a blade.
In the end, he spoke with harsh indifference.
"That embryo was only a month old. You can’t call it a child."
"She’s not going anywhere. No one can take her today!"
Every word carved deep into the heart!
