Chris and the other guild members were gathered there to watch the preliminary rounds of the Martial Arts Tournament.

“Chris! The participants are starting to move!”

“Ugh, ughh!”

“Oh, come on! If you’re this nervous during the preliminaries, how are you planning to handle the finals?”

Beimeirung, seeing Chris covering her eyes with both hands and peeking at the hologram screen through her fingers, shook her head in exasperation. She adjusted Chris’s chair, placing her directly in front of the screen, in the prime viewing spot. Chris anxiously tapped her feet on the floor.

“Oh no…! There are so many people! What if our Rain gets hurt, swept up in the crowd? She’s so small!”

“They’re here to fight, though, aren’t they?”

A loud cheer erupted from the plains.

It was hard to tell whether the participants were hyping themselves up or just swept along by the crowd’s energy, but the players began charging en masse toward the forest.

In a tidal wave, countless people disappeared into the woods. There were far more participants than during the Berbeya Forest World Boss Campaign.@@novelbin@@
