Foundation of Smoke and Steel
Interlude
Alright boys and girls—real talk.
I’m relatively new to NovelBin, and after being out of the writing world for a few years, jumping back in has been both exciting and… a bit overwhelming. I’ve got a lot of stories to tell, but I’ll admit—I’m still figuring out how to get them out there in a way that actually connects.
Right now, I’m about 30 chapters ahead on Foundations of Smoke and Stone and several chapters ahead on my other projects too. So I’ve been toying with the idea of launching a Patreon—to let folks read ahead and maybe even get involved with some of the development process. I’ve also got hundreds of pages already written for The House of Grey, and they’re available over on my site for those who like to binge deep.
Support creative writers by reading their stories on NovelBin, not stolen versions.
What I don’t know is how to grow on this platform. Should I advertise? Engage more? Just stay consistent and pray to the algorithm gods? If you’ve got tips, I’d genuinely appreciate them—and if you’re enjoying the work, sharing, reviewing, or even just dropping a comment helps a ton.
Thanks for giving my chaotic nonsense a shot.
JC Anderson (Collin Earl)
P.S. I’ll be posting another update later today as a small thank you for reading all this and sticking with me. Y’all are legends.
