CHAPTER 689: CHAPTER 418: KOLOS CITY CRISIS (PART 2)

When the skeleton army officially began their siege, the elders of the Arcane Council realized that this crisis was far more severe than anticipated.

Even with all the arcane masters of the Arcane Council casting spells together, they barely managed to hold off the dragon breath of six bone dragons.

"Your Majesty, the city barrier is about to give in!" The arcane master responsible for maintaining the city barrier hurried to the battlements to report to Queen Orelana.

Queen Orelana bore the brunt of the demon flames, retreating tens of meters as her qi-blood surged, reaching her limit.

The Hell Demon Dragon advanced, swinging its long tail; the hundred-meter-long dragon tail struck Queen Orelana with a "thud," sending her flying into the city wall with force.

Fiona, who was not far away battling undead skeletons, cried out when she saw Queen Orelana fall, and rushed over to help her up: "Orelana!"

Queen Orelana spat out a mouthful of blood, barely opening her eyes, only to see the Hell Demon Dragon pouncing down.

She pushed Fiona aside, using the backward momentum to roll across the ground.

The magic pendant activated, emitting rings of magic energy that enveloped her entire body.

Bathing in the magical radiance, she floated up, her magic level soaring rapidly, and once again faced off against the Hell Demon Dragon.

The battle in Kolos City grew increasingly brutal.

Under the assault of the six bone dragons, many sections of the city walls had collapsed, and the skeleton army surged toward these breaches like a flood, storming into the city and tearing into any living creatures they encountered.

The Elf Guard had to redirect forces to defend the gaps in the city walls.

But the breaches in the walls multiplied, and more and more undead skeletons flooded into the city.

If all the undead skeletons outside managed to invade, even if they eventually cleared them out, the Elf Clan would suffer enormous casualties.

Fiona stood on the wall, covered in blood, watching the relentless flow of the skeleton army entering the city, tears brimming in her eyes.

She swung her sword with all her might, chopping at the giant mammoth’s forelimb, causing her grip to split, forcibly severing the giant mammoth skeleton’s forelimb.

Boom!

The giant mammoth’s forelimb snapped, and it toppled sideways to the ground, causing the ground to tremble violently.

Elsewhere.

Queen Orelana drew upon the power from her father’s magic pendant to contend with the Hell Demon Dragon.

Despite this, she was still being overwhelmed by the Hell Demon Dragon, unable to retaliate.

The more this happened, the more surprised she was. Her father’s magic pendant contained the most powerful magical blessing of the Elf Clan.

With this magic energy, she could even temporarily approach demigod-level combat power, yet even so, she still couldn’t defeat the Hell Demon Dragon.
