CHAPTER 29: CHAPTER 29: STOOD UP

Jiang Xin’s eyes flickered.

She took out a mat from the sack, which she used to lay on the ground to prevent the goods from getting dirty when setting up a stall.

Yesterday, Jiang Xin used a basket when setting up her stall, so she didn’t have to worry about the issue of dirt.

Then, he walked forward briskly, came up to Jiang Xin, and took the mat.

He then went to lay the mat out.

The spot Jiang Xin had chosen was relatively open, with only two other vendors nearby.

Moreover, the items those vendors were selling were completely different from Jiang Xin’s stuff.

So there was no need to worry about being rejected by the other two vendors.

Because they weren’t competitors at all.

Jiang Xin was relieved that she successfully distracted Lin Ye.

Feeling much more at ease,

she immediately opened the sack, and while Lin Ye wasn’t paying attention, quickly retrieved two outfits from her space. They were the same style as the set she had given Lin Ye yesterday, just in different colors.

These were the lies she made up while talking to Lin Ye just now.

Lin Ye was still busily laying out the mat.

He must have done hard labor before, as he was quite adept and fast.

Almost as soon as Jiang Xin had finished stashing the outfits she retrieved from her space into the sack.

Lin Ye was already done laying out the mat.

When Jiang Xin raised her head from the sack, she saw Lin Ye had already walked up to her.

Jiang Xin shivered for a moment.

She felt lucky for her quick actions, avoiding being seen by Lin Ye.
