Aiden was living a nightmare in the mental hospital. He finally realized that his life was entirely in Sienna’s hands, and she had stopped seeing him as father long ago

Ever since he drove Vivian and her sisters out or maybe even when he first started ignoring them… Thinking back on everything he’d done, fiden: gaze grew unfocused, his eyes dull and lifeless.

“Meal time!” came an unfriendly shout.

Aiden flinched instinctively when he saw the overweight middle–aged man pushing a food cart toward him.

His eyes were wide with terror as he clung tightly to the arms of his wheelchair.

“Mr. Hart, I made your favorite dish today. I’m sure you’ll love it,” the man said with a smirk.

He opened the tray, revealing a disgusting mess. Aiden’s stomach churned, and he turned pale, fighting back the urge to vomit.

“Don’t you like my cooking, Mr. Hart? Should I call Mrs. de over?” the man asked, his tone dripping with mockery.

At the mention of “Mrs. de,” Aiden’s eyes widened in terror. “No, no, don’tb! /bI’ll eat it, I like it,” he stammered.

With tears in his eyes, he picked up a stale piece of bread and shoved it into his mouth. That woman, Mrs. de, was downright malicious, and despite her age, she was always getting handsy with him.

He deeply regretted not having listened to Sienna’s advice.

All she ever wanted was for him to kick Jocelyn out and make her go back to being a Turner. Jocelyn was never really his daughter anyway, so he didn’t have to pretend to be a perfect one.

Now, the taste of regret in his mouth was just as sickening and hard to swallow as that disgusting piece of bread.

This was all because of that Linda, always stirring up trouble between them.

“Can I please make a phone call? Just a couple minutes, I’m begging you,” Aiden pleaded desperately.

The man let out a coldugh and mped Aiden’s chin in his fat fingers. “You’re still sick. What’s the point of calling anyone? Eat up. When you’re done,

it’s time for your ‘rehab.“”

Aiden didn’t dare say another word. ‘Rehab,‘ for him, was nothing but more pain and torment. He knew exactly what was waiting for him.

If he hadn’t fallen out with Sienna, he’d still be livingrge as Mr. Hart. Honestly, Sienna wasn’t so bad. She even bought him that fancy watchb. /bIt was his

own fault for trusting the wrong people.

He let himself get suckered in by Linda’s empty praise, just to prop up his own pitiful excuse for self–esteem.

Sienna stood by the window, gazing out over the city. “Miss Enna, Jocelyn has been in contact with someone named Sheryl. Here’s her file,” Lana said, handing over a folder.

Sienna nced at it casually, a knowing smile curling on her lips. “I was just looking for a stepping stone, and lookb, /bit’s dropped right binto /bbmy /bbp /bblike /bba /blucky gift”

Lana bowed her head respectfully. “Miss Enra, I finally understand why you’ve been turning a blind eye to Jocelyn all this time.”

“By the way, how’s our patient in the psych ward doing?” Sienna asked, her tone casual and a little mocking.

Lana quickly suggested, “Miss Enna, things are a mess over there. Why not send Reno instead? She can handle it, and you won’t have to run baround /byourselfb./b”

Lana understood that Sienna was actually seeking her opinion. If Miss Sienna truly intended to go in person, she wouldn’t have said ‘might. She only said that to give Lana a chance to offer the perfect suggestion.

Sienna nodded in satisfaction. “Alright, let her go. Just tell her to be careful.”

“Yes, Miss Sienna.” Lana nodded.

Just as Lana was about to turn and notify Reno, she heard Sienna call out, “Your bonus is doubled this month.”

Lana was overjoyed and bowed. “Thank you, Miss Enna.”

One hundred and seventy thousand, just like that.

This time, Jocelyn was almost certain to win. Hart Corporation was bound to go bankrupt, and all she had to do was sit back and wait.

The guy driving the car loaded her in, then pulled out his phone and made a call. “Winifred, we’re bringing her over right now.”

“Okay,” Winifred replied.
