bChapter /b51
At her words, Sienna clenched her fist. “Vivian, I’ll show you how bit’s /bdone. Come with me.”
Sienna grabbed bVivian’s /bhand and led her out of the hospital room. bVivian/b, still in a daze, simply followed.
Sienna opened the passenger door and helped Vivian in. Pulling out her phone, she started a call while circling to the driver’s side. The wind lifted the hem of her dress, entuating her regal poise.
“Lana, round up all those bastards and bring them to the warehouse. They’ll pay in blood. Tell Reno to prepare the tools,” she ordered.
“On it,” Lana replied.
Vivian watched, puzzled, bas /bthe route took them farther and farther from downtown. b“/bSienna, where are we going?b” /b
“I’ll take you to settle the bscore/b. You in?” Sienna said. She shot Vivian a razor–sharp nceb, /bnot to intimidate her, but to shake her to the core.
There bwas /ban unimaginable strength in Sienna’s eyes. It became Vivian’s confidenceb, /bbher /bbsense /bof security.
Vivian’s breath caught. Clenching her bfists/b, she answered Sienna firmly, “I’m in.”
storm of pent–up rage and hatred surged through Vivian, devouring her heart whole.
At the sight of the familiar warehouseb, /bVivian’s heart lurched. All the color drained from her bface /bas she clenched her bfists/bb, /ba wave of dread washing over her.
Sienna turned to Vivian and said firmly, “Vivian, let’s gob./bb” /b
Vivian nodded firmly, telling herself, ‘bIf /bbI /bbever /bwant to step out of the darkness, I have to bface /bit head–on.’
Lana and Reno had been waiting outside. The moment Sienna arrived, they straightened up, standing at attention, ready for hermands.
“Open the door,” Sienna ordered.
bAs /bReno swung open the warehouse door, Vivian froze at the sight of those all–too–familiar faces, her eyes wide with terror. Instinctively, she recoiled, but Sienna mped down on her shoulder, anchoring her in ce.
All the color drained from Vivian’s bface/b. She was trembling all over. She stammered, her voice trembling, “Sienna, you knew all along.”
Vivian’s mind raced in panic bas /bshe wondered, ‘She found out everything. Then those photos and videos? Did Sienna see them all?‘
Reno hefted a heavy sack and dumped it onto the floor with a thud, scattering an array bof /bspecialized torture devices, all designed specifically to
torment men.
A chill ran down her spine bas /bthe realization slowly dawned on Vivian.
Sienna cupped Vivian’s face, forcing eye contact as she said coldly, “Vivian, don’t run away Remember what I told you? Only by facing the darkness can you conquer your fear.
“What you’ve been through–to most people, it’s barely a scratch, just a minor nuisance. But if you dwell on it, it’ll haunt you for life, dragging you into a mire of self–doubt.”
Vivian’s heart raced as Sienna’s words ignited every nerve in her body, filling her with burning strength and courage.
Vivian’s fear melted baway /bfrom her eyes, reced by an unshakable bloodlust. “Got it, Sienna. I know exactly what to do.”
Sienna left the old bcamera /band photos behind bas /bevidence, then pulled out a brand–new recording device. “Vivian, make them suffer tenfold for every wound they inflicted on you.”
With a chilling smirk, Sienna patted Vivian’s shoulder. “Just keep them breathing.”
Sienna didn’t want Vivian to be a good girl, nor a pure and innocent angel. She wanted to forge Vivian into a demon because only demons grow ws and fangs, and that bway/b, Vivian would never be hurt.
The warehouse door mmed shut. Just like byears /bbago/b, fear hung thick in the air. Only this time, the roles were breversed/b.
Lana and Reno stood at the entranceb, /bwhile Sienna leanedzily against the carb, /bexuding an air of icy detachment. She lit a cigarette, her eyes gleaming with terrifying intensity. “Lanab, /bbis /beverything bset/bb?/b”
Lana replied, “Miss Enna, all set.”
After all, it was only a matter of time before these people ended up behind bbars/b. They bwere /ball fugitives now anyway.
1:34 bPM /b
Lana had already tipped off the police, who would soon uncover all that damning evidence. She was just ba /bhelpless woman who happened to encounter some criminals and promptly called the police.
Seven or eight criminals just escaped from ba /bdefenseless woman, and that bwas /ball.
