CHAPTER 61: CHAPTER 61: CHARITY GALA

Caden Hawthorne’s lips curled into a mischievous smile, "Weren’t you the one who wanted to touch? I’ll fulfil your wish."

Vivian blushed in embarrassment and urgency, "I never did, hurry up and get off."

Caden remained unmoved, still pressing against her, his eyes full of teasing, "What? Are you getting shy?"

Vivian turned her face away, not daring to look at him, "Stop fooling around, get up quickly, mom is still waiting for us to go downstairs for breakfast!"

Upon hearing this, Caden slowly got up, reached out to pull Vivian up, a slight smile on his lips: "Alright! I’ll let you go for today."

Vivian glanced at him and quickly got up to wash and change clothes.

Watching Vivian run faster than a rabbit, Caden’s smile grew even wider.

With a few hours left before the charity banquet, Vivian went to the dressing room to select a suitable gown.

Vivian stood before the large floor mirror in the dressing room, her eyes full of seriousness and focus. A row of exquisite dresses was laid before her, vibrant in color and varied in style, dazzling to the eyes.

Vivian first picked up a black fitted gown, the fabric had a delicate sheen, its simple design exuded elegance and class.

She held it against her body in front of the mirror, slightly shook her head, thinking that while black was classic, it might seem too solemn for the charity banquet.

Next, she picked up a light blue gauzy gown, the skirt fluttered lightly, the neckline adorned with exquisite crystals.

Vivian imagined herself at the banquet wearing this gown, but felt the light blue might be too fresh and not quite match the solemn atmosphere of the event.

Just as Vivian was indecisive and hesitating, Caden and Riley Hawthorne walked in.

"Sister-in-law, the stylist my brother booked has arrived, are you ready?"

Vivian looked at them helplessly, "I haven’t even chosen a gown yet, they’re all so beautiful, but I just can’t decide."

Caden walked to her side, looked at the gowns, pondered slightly, then picked up a champagne-colored long gown and handed it to her.

"How about this one? It’s both elegant and dignified, very suitable for you."

Vivian took the gown, held it against her body, her eyes lit up. "This one is good, I think it’s just right."

Riley also nodded in admiration beside her: "Sister-in-law, my brother has always had good taste, this gown is really beautiful, you’ll surely stun the entire room wearing it."

Hearing this, Vivian chuckled softly, "Stunning the entire room is an exaggeration, we’re not here for a fashion show, as long as I don’t embarrass your brother."

Saying this, Vivian instinctively glanced at Caden beside her.

Caden looked at Vivian warmly, his eyes full of affection. "How could you embarrass me? In my eyes, you’re always the most beautiful."

Vivian felt a bit embarrassed by his words, lowered her head blushing. "You sure know how to talk."

Riley, seeing their sweet display, laughed and said: "Oh gosh, you two should stop showing off your love. Sister-in-law, hurry up and change into your gown, the stylist is still waiting."

Vivian nodded, took the gown, and went to the changing room to put it on.

When she reappeared in front of everyone, the champagne-colored gown perfectly showcased her elegant demeanor, catching everyone’s eyes.

Caden looked at Vivian, his gaze full of amazement. He walked up, gently holding her hand. "Vivian, you look stunning."

Riley couldn’t help but give Vivian a thumbs-up, "Indeed, my brother’s taste is impeccable, even finding such a beautiful sister-in-law."

Even the stylist nearby couldn’t help but praise, "Madam, you look beautiful, you and President Hawthorne are truly a perfect match."

Vivian felt a bit embarrassed by the compliments, smiled and said, "Thank you, if you keep flattering me, I’ll be too embarrassed to stay."

Caden gazed at Vivian, his eyes full of pride and admiration. He

gently wrapped his arm around Vivian’s shoulder, saying to the stylist, "Please start styling my wife."

The stylist nodded and began to work.

"This way, ma’am."

Vivian walked over and sat at the dressing table, while the stylist designed an elegant hairstyle for her based on her gown and demeanor, pinning up her long hair, exposing her graceful neck.

Then, the stylist applied a delicate makeup to Vivian, highlighting her clear eyes and cherry-red enticing lips.

When the styling was complete, Vivian stood in front of the mirror again, looking at her appearance, filled with surprise.

"Is this really me?" Vivian asked uncertainly.

At that moment, Caden crouched down, placing his hands on her shoulders, a teasing smile on his lips, "My wife looks truly beautiful."

Vivian blushed at Caden’s compliment, gently pushing him, "I know, our President Hawthorne is indeed handsome today."

Upon hearing Vivian’s praise, Caden stood up, took Vivian’s hand, his gaze tender, a smile on his lips, "Darling, let’s go!"

Riley watched them from the side, especially when they stood together hand in hand, evoking envy.

"Brother, you two are just too sweet! Truly a perfect match, so pleasing to the eyes." Riley teased with a smile, "I bet, tonight you two will definitely be the most dazzling presence at the charity banquet."

At this moment, Riley was wearing a short lilac gown, the skirt fluttered like petals, highlighting her lively and playful demeanor.

Her eyes were bright and lively, sparkling with youthful vitality.

Vivian chuckled softly, "Our Riley is very beautiful too! A true socialite, no one can match her demeanor."

Upon hearing Vivian’s words, Caden slightly curled his lips, "Your sister-in-law is right, you’re my sister, you definitely stand out."

York Family mansion.

"Sis, are you ready yet? The banquet is about to start."

Downstairs, Yara York was getting a bit impatient, glancing at her phone screen from time to time.

"Coming." A gentle voice came from above, as Yvonne York stepped elegantly down the stairs in high heels.

Yvonne wore a sapphire blue fitted gown, the fabric shimmering with fine sheen, perfectly outlining her shapely figure.

Her long hair was styled into an elegant bun, with a few strands hanging by her cheeks, adding a touch of softness.

Yara’s eyes lit up upon seeing Yvonne. "Sis, you look gorgeous today! If Caden saw you now, he’d surely regret marrying that country bumpkin Vivian."

Yvonne slightly frowned and lightly reprimanded, "Yara, don’t say that, Caden is already married."

Yara was unconvinced, pouting, "Sis, you’re just too kind. What’s good about that Vivian? She doesn’t suit Caden at all. Only you truly match him."
