CHAPTER 81: CHAPTER 81: DON’T HURT THE CHILD IN MY WOMB
Caden Hawthorne glared angrily at Butler Hughes, his eyes full of rage, but under Zachary Sutton’s pull, he gradually calmed down.
"Now is not the time to assign blame, the urgent matter is to find Vivian," Zachary Sutton said anxiously.
Caden Hawthorne took a deep breath, trying to calm himself. He looked at Zachary Sutton and asked, "Did the surveillance reveal anything?"
Zachary Sutton frowned and replied, "The surveillance showed that the van headed towards the suburbs, but the exact location is still unclear. We’ve already sent people to search in that direction."
Caden Hawthorne clenched his fist, his eyes filled with determination. "No matter what, we must find Vivian."
"Okay." Zachary Sutton nodded.
"Uncle Hughes, you return to the Hawthorne Family first, and don’t let the old man know Vivian is missing, also don’t let Daniel Lynch find out," Caden Hawthorne commanded after calming down.
"Yes, young master." Simon Hughes wiped his tears and couldn’t help but nod.
Afterward, Caden Hawthorne and Zachary Sutton drove to the outskirts to search for Vivian Lynch.
At that time, Vivian Lynch slowly awoke. She opened her eyes to find herself in an unfamiliar place, surrounding her was darkness and dampness.
Her heart was filled with fear and unease as she tried hard to recall what had happened.
Recalling seeing two strange men getting out of the van before she lost consciousness, Vivian Lynch realized she had been kidnapped. She tried to struggle to get up, only to find her hands and feet bound to a chair.
Outside, the sound of a conversation between a man and a woman could be heard.
"Miss, we’ve brought you the person you wanted. Where’s our reward?"
"This card has 200,000, take it and get lost quickly."
Listening to the woman’s voice, Vivian Lynch found it particularly familiar. Just who was orchestrating these two men to kidnap her?
Vivian Lynch tried hard to remember this familiar voice, her heart filled with doubt and unease.
She tried to struggle to make some noise to attract the attention of those outside, but bound as she was, her movements were very limited.
"Miss, don’t try any tricks. If we’re found out, we’re doomed." The man’s voice was a little nervous.
"Don’t worry, this place is very secluded, no one will find it. You guys hurry up and leave, don’t ever appear in front of me again." The woman’s voice was cold and resolute.
As the footsteps gradually faded away, Vivian Lynch became more certain that this woman was someone she knew.
She wracked her brains thinking about who could be so vicious towards her. Was it Jessica Hart? Or the Yvonne York sisters? Or someone else?
At this moment, Vivian Lynch felt deeply worried. She didn’t know what this woman would do to her or if Caden Hawthorne would be able to find her.
All she could do was silently pray, hoping for the safety of herself and her babies.
Just then, two women’s voices could be heard from outside.
"Is Vivian Lynch inside?"
"Yes, she is still unconscious."
"Quickly get rid of the child in her belly. If Caden Hawthorne finds his way here, we’re all done for."
"Don’t worry! We’ll start right away."
Vivian Lynch’s heart tightened, and fear instantly spread throughout her body.
She struggled desperately, trying to break free from the bindings, but her hands and feet were tied too tightly, she couldn’t move at all.
Thinking desperately, could this really be the end for her and her babies?
Just then, the door was pushed open, and a few people in lab coats came in. Some were male, some were female, and they wore masks covering their faces.
"Who are you?" Vivian Lynch asked warily, instinctively trying to shrink back, but she was tied to a chair and couldn’t move.
"Vivian Lynch, didn’t expect this, did you? You finally have your day," said a woman in a mask standing in front of her.
Vivian Lynch looked at the masked woman in surprise, "Jessica Hart, is it you?"
"Yes, it’s me." Jessica Hart’s face was full of anger, she approached and grabbed her by the neck, her eyes full of resentment. "It’s all because of you, you slut. If it weren’t for you, Sean wouldn’t have broken up with me. It’s all your fault!"
Vivian Lynch found it hard to breathe, her face turning red. "Jessica Hart... let me go..."
Jessica Hart only tightened her grip, viciously saying, "I won’t let you go, I want you to pay. You ruined my happiness, I will ruin you."
Vivian Lynch felt like she was about to suffocate, then the woman beside them spoke up, "Alright, let’s focus on our business, don’t forget our purpose."
Upon hearing this, Jessica Hart finally released Vivian Lynch.
Vivian Lynch gasped for air, glaring at Jessica Hart, "It’s obviously your own fault, being knowingly involved in an affair, stealing others’ work, and now you have the audacity to blame me?"
Now, she needed to buy herself more time, hoping that Caden Hawthorne could find this place to save her.
Jessica Hart, provoked by Vivian Lynch’s words, raised her hand to hit her. "Shut up! You think you’re so noble? You’re just climbing up using men."
The woman beside them stopped Jessica Hart. "Stop wasting time on her, hurry up and do it."
The people in lab coats, holding syringes, began approaching Vivian Lynch.
Vivian Lynch looked at them in horror. "What are you going to do? Don’t harm the child in my belly."
Jessica Hart sneered, "Now you’re scared? Too late! Today is your death day."
Just as they were about to act on Vivian Lynch, a fierce fight broke out outside. Jessica Hart and her accomplices were thrown into panic.
"Not good, someone’s coming."
A person hurriedly ran in to report.
Hearing this, the woman’s face changed, glaring at Jessica Hart, "You can’t even handle this, idiot!"
Jessica Hart looked puzzled, "No, it’s impossible, how did they find this place?"
"No time, hurry up and act," commanded the woman, gesturing to the people in lab coats with her eyes.
They nodded, two of them held Vivian Lynch down, while another, holding a syringe, approached step by step.
Seeing this, Vivian Lynch widened her eyes, shaking her head quickly, "No... don’t come closer, don’t hurt my child."
The next second, the man thrust the needle into Vivian Lynch’s arm, starting to inject the liquid into her body.
"Ah..." Vivian Lynch cried in pain, wanting to struggle, but was pinned down tightly and couldn’t move.
At this moment, the door was kicked open, and a group of men in black stormed in.
The leading man, wearing a mask and holding a gun, aimed at the lab coat injecting Vivian Lynch and fired.
Instantly, the man in the lab coat’s head exploded.
"Ah..." Blood splattered on Vivian Lynch’s face, she was filled with terror and fear, and the next second, she fainted.
"Who are you?" Seeing the man who suddenly appeared, Jessica Hart and her group immediately became wary.
"Who I am is not important, what’s important is that you kidnapped Caden Hawthorne’s wife. If he finds out, you might not even know how you died," the man said with a smirk, blowing on the still-smoking gun barrel.
