From Villain to Cherished: Counter My Role by Pampering Kids
Chapter 137: Showing the Painting to Uncle
CHAPTER 137: CHAPTER 137: SHOWING THE PAINTING TO UNCLE
Little Su Yan glanced over and said, "Are you childish? My uncle won’t play that with you."
Little Su Luo bent over and pulled his little uncle, "Let’s lie down together. There’s an enemy ahead, and they’re pointing their cannons at us!"
Lu Yun: "..."
Should he lie down or not?
Instinctively, he glanced at Su Xingwan, who was chopping vegetables in the kitchen.
At this time, Little Su Hua, who was looking through the drawer, couldn’t find her drawing.
"Where’s my drawing? Where did it go?"
Lu Yun heard and quickly walked over.
"What drawing? Uncle will help you find it."
Little Su Hua gestured with both hands, "Uncle, I drew you and auntie. I did it yesterday, but now I can’t find it."
"Uncle will help you find it," Lu Yun said, squatting down to search through the drawer she just rummaged through.
He searched all around but still couldn’t find it.
"It’s not here. Did you place it somewhere else?"
Little Su Hua scratched her head, "I don’t know either!"
Little Su Luo came running with a toy cannon, "Uncle, stop searching, come play enemy-fighting games with me!"
Little Su Yan walked over, "Uncle won’t play such childish games with you. Uncle, come teach me chess."
"No! Uncle has to help me find my drawing," Little Su Hua clung to his sleeve.
Lu Yun: "..."
"...Why don’t you go find your aunt?"
Should he go cook?
Su Xingwan, coming out of the kitchen, saw the three little ones at the bedroom door tugging at their uncle.
And Mr. Lu looked quite helpless at the moment.
Su Xingwan wanted to laugh, so she coughed and pretended, "What are you three doing there? Why are you all clinging to your uncle?"
Little Su Luo: "Auntie, I want uncle to play with me and the cannon!"
Little Su Hua: "Auntie, I want uncle to help me find a drawing!"
Little Su Yan: "I want uncle to teach me chess!"
Su Xingwan: "..."
"You only have one uncle; he can’t split himself to be with all of you."
"Then uncle should play the cannon game with me first!"
"Uncle should help me find my drawing, it’s more important."
"I’m anxious for uncle to teach me chess."
Su Xingwan: "..."
She glanced at Mr. Lu, "How about this? Hua Bao, take your uncle to find what you need."
"Auntie, there’s a drawing in the drawer, but now I can’t find it."
"A drawing? Is it the one you painted yesterday?"
"Yes, auntie!"
Su Xingwan: "Then go search in auntie’s room, maybe it’s in my drawer."
She remembered Hua Bao seemed to have painted something in her room last night.
The two brothers watched their sister lead their uncle away, then turned to auntie, "Auntie, you always favor her."
Su Xingwan: "..."
She walked over and looked at Little Su Yan, "You wanted chess lessons?"
She thought about it, but she didn’t know how to play either.
"Let uncle teach you chess another time, don’t bother him now."
"Oh..."
The little tuft of hair on Little Su Yan’s head shook.
Then Su Xingwan looked at Little Su Luo: "As for playing cannon, let Uncle Ye play with you next time."
"...Oh." The little tuft of hair on Little Su Luo’s head drooped.
Just when Su Xingwan thought she’d solved all the problems, Little Su Luo’s eyes brightened, "Auntie, then let uncle play Magical Fairy with me!"
Su Xingwan: "..."
She suddenly agreed with the kindergarten headmaster; Luo Bao might be pretty suited for preschool.
Little Su Yan told him, "Uncle won’t play that game with you."
Little Su Luo scratched his head, "Why?"
"Because it’s childish."
"Then I can reward uncle by dressing him up in my toy clothes!"
Little Su Yan: "..."
Su Xingwan: "..."
Lu Yun, seeing Little Su Hua pulling him into Su Xingwan’s bedroom, quickly stopped.
"Uncle, come in?" Little Su Hua noticed uncle stopped and asked confused.
"Uncle won’t go in. Uncle will stand outside and wait for you to fetch the drawing, okay?"
Little Su Hua blinked, "No, I want to find it with uncle!"
Speaking, she opened auntie’s bedroom door and tugged uncle inside.
Upon entering, Lu Yun instantly sensed a fragrance unique to Su Xingwan.
A faint hint of fragrance wafted through the air.
He looked around briefly; the tidy room, and the blue bed with just two pillows.
Little Su Hua leaned over, opened the drawer, and searched inside.
Soon, she spotted the drawing.
"Uncle, found the drawing!"
Su Xingwan, leaving the kids’ bedroom, saw her room open, with one large and one small silhouette still inside.
So she went back to the kitchen to continue her work, reminding the brothers not to bother their uncle.
Lu Yun, holding Little Su Hua’s hand, emerged from the room.
He held the drawing, examining it closely.
On the paper was a mermaid princess, and next to it seemed to be a prince from a fairytale kingdom.
Did she really draw herself and him?
Little Su Hua blinked and sought her uncle’s praise, "Uncle, is my drawing pretty?"
Lu Yun asked, "Auntie is a mermaid?"
"Yes!" Little Su Hua said cheerfully, then, tiptoeing, pointed at the lavishly dressed prince, "That’s the handsome uncle!"
Lu Yun looked again.
"Mermaid and fairytale prince?"
"Exactly!" Little Su Hua said happily.
He was somewhat dazed.
Mermaids and princes were couples in fairytales, right?
"Did your aunt see it?" Lu Yun asked.
Little Su Hua nodded, "She saw it!"
Lu Yun was a little stunned.
Then said, "Hua Bao, you did a great job, uncle really likes this drawing."
Little Su Hua’s eyes lit up.
"Then I’ll give uncle this drawing!"
"Alright, uncle will accept it," Lu Yun smiled.
Then, Little Su Hua happily ran to the kitchen to find auntie.
"Auntie, auntie! Uncle liked my drawing and accepted it!"
Hearing this, Su Xingwan smiled, patting her head.
"That means uncle really likes your drawing!"
Little Su Hua beamed with joy.
The brothers, playing in the living room, overheard their sister.
"Hmph, it’s just a drawing."
Because of auntie’s earlier reminder, the brothers hadn’t bothered uncle anymore.
With nothing to do, Lu Yun entered the kitchen to help.
After dinner, Lu Yun left.
In the evening.
Su Xingwan saw Little Su Hua squatting by the coffee table, absorbed in drawing.
She glanced over, realizing it was another mermaid and prince.
"Hua Bao, why are you drawing the same thing?"
"Auntie, this drawing is for Uncle Ye."
"Oh, I see," Su Xingwan said, smiling, "Hua Bao, you even paired auntie with a handsome prince, you’re really auntie’s good baby."
Little Su Hua giggled, "Auntie, this little prince is uncle, he’s just as handsome!"
Hearing this, Su Xingwan paused.
