They had to hand it to Josie. So she had already affixed the redbels earlier. No wonder she was so confident that she brought her whole gang here to im all the folders with the redbels.

This woman was so calcting that when she was gathering materials for the team, she even segregated her own efforts from the rest by meticulously recording her own contributions.

At this juncture, Aiden dragged Natalie to his side. “Prof Lawson has already said she can take her stuff. Why are all of you making a scene here? Step aside and let them take their stuff.”

Josie folded her arms and took a step back. “Now you allow us to take them? Toote! As I said earlier, these folders must be picked up in the same order in which she threw them.

“Then she can either put them back on the shelves, or hand them to us one by one personally. Otherwise, I will summon the entire faculty and all the students here to see the conduct of

    Professor Lawson’s team members.”

Allison Parker also piped up indignantly, “Yeah! Why are all of you so worried about Josie taking her materials away? Are you guys nning to use her stuff?”

Jaden had to speak his mind again. “Nonsense! We do not need her stuff at all. Move everything out now!”

Josie couldn’t even be bothered with this jerk anymore and instead red frostily at Natalie. “Well? Pick them up!”

“I…” Not surprisingly, Natalie was not willing to do it. She was about to leave when Aiden held her back. “Pick them up, and do it quickly. I don’t want Prof Lawson to see this mess!”

Fearful that the professor might get mad again, Natalie had no choice but to do it, no matter how much she resented it. There was nothing she could do since David had already given his permission to let Josie take these materials.

‘Damn you, Josie Pearson! You’re downright shameless. The grudge between us just got deeper. Just you wait!‘ Natalie swore under her breath.

When they left the archive room, Josie and her friends were carrying stacks of folders piled up high in their arms.

“Josie, where do you n to store all these materials?” ire Wilcourt happened to flip through a few pages and discovered that the materials included not only content rted to cytology, but also covered other medical specialties.

Josie simply shrugged. “I haven’t decided yet. For now, let’s keep them in our own archive room. Everyone is wee to look through them.”

Colby surveyed the folders. “I won’t hold back then. These materials you gathered are truly good stuff. Thanks to those sets of mock exam papers you gave me, I was able to rise ito /ithe top of the cohort. I must really thank you!”

Zoey concurred with augh. “Yeah! The revision materials you rmended ito /ius previously really helped us a lot. Nearly all the members of our dormitory improved their exam scores this time.”

The group headed down the corridor, chatting andughing along the way. As there were so many of them carrying so much bulky stuff, they attracted many people’s attention.

A clueless student began asking, “The term has just started, and they are already nning an event? Howe I didn’t receive any

    notification?”

“What event? Do they look like they’re going to some event?” someone retorted.

“No event? Then why are the second and third–year post–grads hanging out with the fourth and fifth–year undergrads?” That clueless student asked again.

    “Bet you didn’t know this. I heard…”

Along the corridor, students gathered in small groups and began gossiping about a certain shocking incident.

And that was how Professor David Lawson lost a bet to his student, and as a result, that student got to take almost all the research materials from his archive room.

The rumor became more and more exaggerated until the final version simply stated that David Lawson had lost to Josie Pearson and had to let her and her team members empty his archive room.

Another student asked, “Does this mean that Josie Pearson still has not given up the cytology

    course?

“Otherwise, why would she go to such lengths to empty her former mentor’s archive room?”

The rumor mill went into overdrive again. This time, people were saying that Josie Pearson had gone too far and should not have done that to her ex–mentor. Since she left the team voluntarily, what right did she have to clear out the former team’s archive room? What on earth was she up to?

The more inquisitive ones began probing. “Prof Lawson lost to his own student? What was the

    bet about?b” /b
