As a precaution, the university usually prepared two test papers for each exam.

Josie had heard of that unwritten rule after the incident about Jaden. The papers that weren’t used in the exams would be the practice ones for the next ss.
Back then, Aiden didn’t need to retake the exams. In the second semester, Josie got the backup papers from David for a test of her knowledge.
To catch up with Aiden and please him, she had learned the postgraduate courses by herself and collected study materials for him.
Not long ago, she had helped Colby study and highlighted the main focus of the two test papers for him, just in case.
As long as Colby learned carefully, he would get a high score on either paper.
“Come on! Does the university really prepare two sets of test papers?” Zoey asked excitedly after she heard Josie’s exnation. “Never did I expect the university to be so discreet. Josie, you are amazing.”
‘It is a good chance to teach Aiden a lesson,‘ she thought.
“By the way, why did you know the main focus of the tests?” Colby was curious.
Josie smiled. “You should thank Professor Lawson for that. During his lecture, he likes to say that this or that is the main focus of the test, mark it down.
“I don’t know what the other students think of that. I took his words seriously. Gradually, I figured out the trick.
“After several applications, I found that I could foretell the main focus of the test as long as I got down to it.”
She was telling a half–truth. It was true that she had once helped her teammates collect the study materials. However, she had learned of the quiz questions before she went back in time.
Herpanions failed to catch the lie, and they just felt that she was smart and diligent.
The test results were out in the afternoon, and Josie’s post had caused a stir. Therefore, Josie and Colby were summoned to the Academic Affairs Office again.
Even Delh and Lance Perkins, the principal of the university, were there.
At the sight of Josie, Delh strode over and said, “You silly girl, why didn’t you tell me that
they picked on you? Do you see me as one of them?”

“No!” Josie looked nervous. “My bad. I like to solve the problem myself. Sorry for my blunder. I should have told you before this meeting.”
“You did a great job anyway!” Daisy gave Josie a thumbs–up. “Some arrogant man looks down upon us and thinks that only his students are outstanding. You taught him a good lesson, girl.
“Delh, your student is awesome. Her academic performance ranks top i50 /iin the grade after a semester of hard work. Tell me how you taught her.”
Delh beamed with delight. “She is diligent, and I teach her as I do the others.”
“In other words, the student herself is the key to the problem.” Daisy turned her head and nced at Lance. “What do you think, Mr. Perkins?”
Instantly, Lance’s expression turned ugly. “We are strict with the enrollment standard, so our students are great.
“Josie is a special case. As the principal, I don’t advise our students to change their majors in their senior year. It is risky and may affect their future.”
“Mr. Perkins is right.” Josie nodded her head. “I wouldn’t have taken the risk if I had other choices. It is risky, so I study hard.
“I don’t want my future to be affected, and I hate to disgrace my new mentor. How can I repay her kindness? But with my outstanding academic performance.
“However, someone keeps causing trouble for me. It seems he is determined to ruin me. I don’t know why. Is my outstanding academic performance the problem?”
Amused, Daisy said, “You silly girl, how could you shout the truth here? How can the outstanding academic performance be a problem? Stay outstanding, as I am on your side. You have my full support.”
Few professors dared to talk like this before the principal.
At the same time, David’s expression kept changing. “Mr. Perkins, I shouldn’t have bet with Josie, but I didn’t target her. My goal was to protect Kyle,
“Kylees from a modest family, and it cost him a lot to get admitted into the postgraduate program. He would graduate in one year, so I felt that it was a pity to expel him. I sympathized with him, so…”
“So, you protected your own students and made things difficult for others.” Delh sneered.
She added, “Doesn’t Josie work hard for her future? Doesn’t shee from a modest family?

Red in the face, David kept cursing Kyle in his heart. He regretted his help for Kyle. Never would he have given his word to Natalie if he had foreseen this humiliationing.
It stunned him that Josie could excel in her new major as well as her old one within one
semester.
After one deep look at Josie, David thought, ‘What a pity! She is gifted, but a troublemaker. If she stayed on my team, she would stand out one day.
‘Yet, she asked for trouble and chose a bad major in her senior year. It is impossible for her to beat me. Even her professor can’t. How dare she challenge me!‘
“Cut the crap.” David still sounded arrogant. “I forgive you for your post, so you are at the mercy of Mr. Perkins now. My only concern is the test results, Mr. Perkins.”
Delh pursed her lips. “How dare you mention that post? The whole campus is criticizing you. I dare you to pick on Josie again.”
Her hatred towards David was strong, so Lance was in a dilemma. Lance then said, “Delh, calm down, calm down. We will give you a good exnation about theint. Focus on the test results now.”
He took the papers from Isaiah and nced at the scores on them…
