“The National Hospital is certainly authoritative, but the Aloville Traditional Medicine Hospital under the Reedshaw Group also enjoys a century–long reputation.
“The reason this technique is called Reedshaw Acupuncture Technique is that, for many years, those who studied it have all been direct descendants of the Reedshaw family.
“I have had the privilege of bing Professor Wilcourt’s student, and naturally, I cannot go against her wishes.”
Josie smiled very politely.
She said, “I’m not a particrly clever person, but I think there’s nothing wrong with having some backbone.
“After all, in life, one ought to have a bit of moral courage.
“Besides, when ites to passing down this tradition, even if we want to promote it, we can’t let any impurities get mixed in.
“Wouldn’t you agree, Mr. Nelson?”
She was petite, yet she stood exceptionally confidently.
Her smiling face was sincere and endearing, revealing a touch of innocence unacquainted with the ways of the world.
However, Xander thought, ‘Romanticists who perceive only the positive aspects of this world are foolish.
‘I want to see how these two would manage to pass down the Reedshaw Acupuncture Technique.
‘Especially this Josie, who is now wholeheartedly defending Delh. When her value has been fully exploited, the Reedshaw family will cast her aside.
‘I’d like to see whether this youngdy can still hold her head high and talk to me like now!
He said, “Indeed, your perspective is reasonable. As medical practitioners, we must remain upromised in ourmitment to treating and saving lives.
“If not for the recent incident involving Mr. Longley, I would not have witnessed the efficacy of acupuncture.”
Xander sighed and said, “Otherwise, I would not intend to develop acupuncture within the

“My sole aim is to provide our people with an additional option for medical treatment. Unfortunately, Delh appears to have misunderstood my intentions.
“Never mind. After all, this happened because I was too impatient.”
He waved his hand, looking deeply wronged and misunderstood, and with a face full of grievance, walked into the inner room.
Josie was so angry she almostughed. She realized there were quite a few shameless people in the world, including David, Xander, and Keh.
It was truly not easy to do things with pure
intentions.
Upon entering the Longley family’s living room, Delh was not present. Xandrov greeted Xander and invited him to take a seat.
When Josie entered, Xandrov pointed toward the inner room and said, “Your teacher has already gone to perform acupuncture for my father. You should hurry and go, too!”
Josie greeted them and quickly entered the inner room, thus sparing herself the awkwardness of facing Xander.
As soon as she lefti, /iXander nced toward the inner room in puzzlement.
He asked, “Wasn’t it said that Mr. Longley had recovered and been discharged from the hospital? Why does he still need acupuncture?”
Xandrov did not exin much to him. She just smiled:
She said, “Traditional medicine is nourishing. My father is advanced in age, and his recovery does not conflict with continuing acupuncture.
“If Mr. Nelson is genuinely interested in traditional medicine, you can also try acupuncture.
Xanderughed and said, “We’ll see!”
Xandrov did not press the matter and took out the document on the table.
She said, “This is the final document regarding the transfer of authority.
“My father has stated that, from now on, full authority over National Hospital will be entrusted entirely to you. Effective today, he will no longer be involved in any internal affairs of the hospital.
“Mr. Nelson, there is no need for you to seek approval for any matters in the future.”

He meant that Xander had no reason toe to the Longley family again.
After submitting the documents, Xandrov stood up to see Xander off.
He said, “It is gettingte. I still need to go to the research institute shortly, so I won’t keep you any further. Please.”
“Mr. Longley, you certainly seem busy. I really can’t wait to see what remarkable achievements your research association has supposedly aplished.” There was undisguised mockery in Keh’s eyes.
Xandrov ignored it, smiled, and invited the two out of the room.
He said, “To be candid, I am genuinely looking forward to coborating with Mr and Mrs. Wilcourt and other colleagues on this asion.
“I sincerely hope that the achievements we attain will meet everyone’s expectations.”
After he finished speaking, he closed the door, directly ignoring Xander and Keh, who had not yet walked far.
He thought, ‘How dare a mere medical assistant mock me to my face? I’ve really been too lenient with him.‘
Xandrov rarely ever gave anyone the cold shoulder. This was a first, but it surprisingly felt good.
He thought, ‘Sometimes, you really can’t be too agreeable with people.’
Watching as the main gate of the Longley family was forcefully mmed shut, Xander was so angry that his lips kept trembling.
