“I mean it! Dinner’s on me tonight. Order whatever you want,” Josie said, her lips curving into a rare smile.

Sean caught sight of that rare smile and, for some reason, just wanted to cover Colby’s eyes.

Even though he knew Colby already had a crush, he still didn’t want anyone else seeing Josie smile like that.

On top of that, seeing her smile made his hands itch. He just wanted to reach out and ruffle her hair.

Josie waspletely clueless. She was still asking Colby to help clean up herptop.

“So, I’ll need to ask Colby for help again.”

“Why are you looking at me like that?” Zoey suddenly looked flustered. “Wait, you’re not about to ask me to go talk to him for you, are you?”

Josie hugged her. “Come on, Zoey, you know how it is.

“I’ve barely said two words to Colby all week. But you’re different. You two seem pretty tight!”

To be honest, Josie had her motives, too.

She’d noticed how Colby acted around Zoeytely. He was obviously into her.

She might not know Colby that well yet, but from what she remembered from her previous life, he’d always had a ster reputation at school.
