CHAPTER 156- DEAL

"I will erase all the data I have received on you and give them enough evidence that would completely erase all the doubts from you," Yuna assured him as she wore her clothes in the bathroom.

Minoru had also summoned a pair of clothes for himself as he asked, "Who is the one commanding you?"

If he gets the name or location, then he would probably get in contact with them in the future and completely remove Vanquishers from his way. 

Yuna shook her head and replied without hesitation, "I cannot divulge that information, nor anything else about Vanquishers." Glancing at him with her gaze narrowed, she added, "I have made a contract on the grounds of removing your name from the hit list. Don't assume I have changed my loyalty."

Minoru rolled his eyes as he crossed his arms on his chest, "You should know, Officer, that there are several other Vanquishers I can use as well." With a grin, he added, "And unlike you, they would bend over for me if I told them to."

Yuna scoffed, "Go and try if you dare."

"Oh, I already have. And that woman never noticed that I was a demon."

Yuna flinched as she hurriedly turned towards the raven-haired and asked, "You mentioned it previously as well...who in the seven hell was it who never noticed your inhumane side?"

Minoru closed his left eye and put his index finger on his lips before muttering, "Can't disclose, Officer."

Yuna gritted her teeth, this was an annoying one.

Huffing, she made her way to the door, and told him, "Don't come out just yet. There are several cameras in my room."

Minoru teased, "Never knew you had such fetishes."

*Click*

*SLAM*

Slamming the door with the strength to create a small crack in the frame, Yuna entered her room and finally got rid of his yapping.

'God...why is he so annoying.' 

She went ahead and took down all the cameras, which she had put around the room, just in case someone came here to spy on her. 

Although the footage wouldn't leak unless she wanted it to, Yuna didn't want to take any chances of getting caught working with a demon.

That would be devastating.

"You can come now." 

Yuna opened the door, and her eyes widened upon seeing a different 

version of Minoru walking out. 

He looked nothing like a guy, but a sweet innocent girl. 

Her eyes were sparkling as the beautiful girl stepped out of the bathroom, wearing a floral dress with frills. Her long black hair was tied in a ponytail and her bright red eyes made Yuna feel troubled. 

"Don't stare too hard Onee-chan~you might awaken something in me~" Minoru teased as she stepped forward and sat down on the bed.

"Why are you in that appearance?"

Minoru grinned, "Isn't that your fantasy? To dominate an innocent girl in bed, corrupt her and make her lose her mind in the bed?”

Yuna's face was flushed red, as she scolded, "Who told you to read my mind?! And, in the first place, I have no such craving!"

Minoru scoffed, "Nothing can remain hidden by an Incubus. Anyway, since this version looks more pleasing to you, " Reverting to his original state, Minoru added, "I will remain in my real form." 

Yuna was now seriously contemplating if she did the right thing by agreeing to his contract. He is really annoying!

"Okay now, Miss Officer, tell me something. How did I get into the target list in the first place? And don't try to escape the question since it doesn't involve your org's secrets or something."

Yuna sat down on the chair across from him, before lighting up a cigarette. Puffing a small cloud of smoke, she said, "An agent was killed back in Kyoto, in the resort where you stayed. Further, when your history was dug out, the sudden changes they noticed gave them the evidence that you might be a demon."

Minoru frowned, not only because of the smoke but also because of her words.

Minami...killed a person that day? But, "How?" He asked.

Yuna shrugged, "I don't have the exact information, but suddenly, a burst of Demonic energy caused his demise."

Minoru raised his brows, "How does that work?"

Yuna heaved a sigh before explaining, "The energy we draw from the Sun is positive, and the energy you guys possess is negative. Humans are neutral....that's why overwhelming a human with either energy wouldn't do a shit to them. However, to us Vanquishers, or Demons, the opposite energy could lead them to their demise."

Minoru nodded, somehow understanding the whole concept behind the energy he and Yuna possess.

It was true that when Minami awakened her succubus traits, she released a huge amount of Demonic essence. Or at that time when she was taking control over him. 

But still...dying just because of the outburst sounded kinda...

"Are all the Vanquishers that feeble?" 

Yuna narrowed her eyes before asking, "Wanna give it a go and see how feeble we are?"

Minoru massaged his forehead, she is an impulsive person. 

"Anyway, is there anyone else on whom you have implanted the tracker?" 

Yuna shook her head, "Just Naoko...I will deactivate that chip right away."

Minoru probably would go and remove the chip later. Although he trusted Yuna wouldn't report anything to the Vanquisher, the Contract never mentioned anything that refrained her from collecting data on Minoru for herself. 

"Okay then, I will get going." Minoru hopped off the bed and approached the door. Just as he twisted the handle of the door, he heard Yuna saying,

"Here," Minoru raised his arm and caught the phone she threw at him, "I will contact you through this. Just don't lose it."

Minoru nodded before finally leaving the room.
