Galactic knight: Apocalypse system Activated!
Chapter 55: Facing the opposition’s Commander
CHAPTER 55: FACING THE OPPOSITION’S COMMANDER
The words heightened their motions.
The commander twisted his neck sideways, looking sideways, his face etched in viciousness. He looked at the soldiers pointing the gun at him.
He gave a sly smile.
Julian watched every of his move, studying him. His every move, every motion, every movement of his eyes.
"You boys can do nothing to me," the commander finally said to the soldiers. "The whole time I’ve been here I’ve saw no one as a threat..." he paused, nodding sideways and grinning, as if trying to force the words out of his mouth.
"Ah...." The commander wanted to say something but then stopped. He faced Julian.
"Ok. Let’s end this. Let’s make peace. Fighting me would obliterate this planet. Let’s just end this. I take the bomb away and leave your planet."
Julian was laughing silently. He was genuinely surprised that the governor believed everything he had been acting.
What an actor he must be.
"End what,. after killing the governor?" Julian said.
The commander snickered.
"Without him dying you wouldn’t have been governor, no?"
"The fuck you saying?. I’m not from this planet. I’m not from this galaxy even." Julian said.
The commander was stunned.
"What do you mean?" he asked.
Julian grinned.
"This governor was simply too weak to rule. I was sent to come replace him."
The commander looked at Julian from head to toe and then at the other soldiers. Julian’s mech armor looked very cool and alien-like, giving him this stunning look. The soldiers’ mechs were cool, but Julian’s had this ’galactic’ touch to it.
It was seemingly very stunning. Like a space marine armor. That type of stuff.
"So even without him dying I would still be governor," Julian said. "And t’s the reason for all this. What was the main reason for coming to the planet."
The commander smiled.
"Seems you need info on the wall galaxy. This is norms. Normally Drayyors was a very strong planet but after the invasion from Archos Imperium, they become soft."
Julian squinted his eyes.
What was this cheeky commander up to.
How did he know about the Archos Imperium.
Julian decided to ask. Seems they would be doing a lot talking.
"How did you know about Archos Imperium," Julian asked.
The commander laughed.
"How naive can you be. They are now on the brink of claiming this galaxy all together. News has if they’ve almost claimed the galaxy before this. Now, in this galaxy, they’ve successfully conquered four planets. My planet is next."
"Than why are you after this," Julian asked. "Shouldn’t you be protecting yours?."
The commander sighed. "I shouldn’t be telling you this but what do I have to lose. Drayyors is most powerful in the wall galaxy when it comes to weapons. In all the planets here, this is ranked two or three. Drayyors have crazy bombs and all. And that was why they were able to resist the first Archos attacks, even with the amateur soldiers they have and their weakling governor."
"Now, what if they had a fearless governor and good fighters. They would have saved a lot of their weapons."
Julian started thinking.
"You know the name of the commander leading the mission for the Imperium of Archos?"
It was now looking like they were about to be friends. But that was not the case, both were trying to gain information from each other hence for the talks.
"Well, information reached us that it’s the critically acclaimed commander, Commander Nethul."
Julian almost gasped. He knew alright but hearing it, being assured, fueled him the more.
Commander Nethul!
But why ’Critically acclaimed?’. He didn’t quite get it. Was he an actor or something.
"The thing is," the opposition commander began. "Commander Nethul’s got some weird superpowers and crazy weapons. Guy’s a beast, he solos a planet himself. He’s literally indestructible, to bullets, to bombs, to anything!. Bro’s HIM."
Julian clenched his fists.
"No one’s ever survived from him before and survived."
Julian frowned.
"Well, I’ve faced him once and survived."
The commander scoffed.
"Impossible."
Julian chuckled. He wanted to grin but then decided to chuckle, as that was what the commander would hear. Grinning would be invincible because of his helmet.
"I barely survived but then, I intend to take on him soon, at least to stop this madness."
The commander watched, surprised with Julian’s confidence.
"Who are you?"
Julian asked.
"I’m not a mere being, I belong to the class of the gods."
The commander brandished his sword in the air, taking another from the stuff that held swords behind his back.
He was ready to fight.
"Seems this will be the first time in ages I’ll fight someone near my rank?"
Julian scoffed.
"Mere mortal, you’re beneath my rank."
The commander was shocked with that wording. In retaliation, he swerved a sword at Julian’s neck. Julian ducked, dodging. Making himself a spear, he drove into the commander.
---
The move shattered the window’s glass, the sill being shoved away by—
Glass sprawled in the air, the dusty wind denting it across the commander’s face.
Motion at that point seemed to have seizure and so they glided just a bit in the air before Julian flew, the commander still falling down, sent him a kick to the jaw.
Bam!
The commander fell.
Blood coming out from his nose just a bit.
Julian flew in the air and coming down, he aimed at the commander who could barely see from the effects of dizziness from that fall.
Julian stomped on the commander’s face.
Stomp!
They weren’t the only one fighting, Rehul had found the other soldiers and they were going against the soldiers of planet Hellfott (the opposition.).
They had a lot of crazy guns and the relentless barrage of artillery fire pounded the enemy’s defenses.
Heads fell like it was norms. Veins ripped like it was ropes. Throats were slit with momentum, eyeballs were ripped out like it was poop.
Skulls roamed the ground, teeths kissing the floor.
The screams of dying soldiers roared across the place. Soldiers who was brutally stabbed in the heart. Soldiers that were having their legs chopped off.
The once weak soldiers of Drayyors were fighting like they were martial gods. Ducking, swerving, rolling on the floor, sending kicks to the opposition’s jaw, ripping mouths in half.
And the worst of it, their was a weapon like a chainsaw which Rehul and a very brave soldier were holding. With that weapon, they gutted out the kidneys of the opposition like it was nothing.
They seamlessly sent the tongues of the soldiers like....
Rampage!
The merciless sound of sword against flesh.
War.
The real war truly just began.
The true war!, it was only starting!
Julian held the bloody commander by the neck and sent him to the sky.
Julian could fly but surprisingly, the commander couldn’t and that gave Julian an upper hand to this fight.
Julian, looking upwards, at the commander who was now falling towards his face, kissed his hands and....
Kaboom!
A punch!
A sickening punch, one that made the stars bow...
Astroids moan
The dust cough
A hell of a punch.
One that made both sides to pause and stare.
The commander fell hardly to the ground and his army of soldiers quickly went over to him, protecting him for Julian.
Over fifty soldiers, all trying to protect the commander from Julian.
Julian grinned, this power, all this power.
This fuckin’ power!
He was literally a god at this point. A damn god!
They enveloped the commander, trying to protect him.
Julian watched them, on his face disappointment.
He had been expecting something epic but with this, he didn’t know what to make out of it.
It was easy, it was easy!
It was shocking. How easy it was. Very well surprising.
He had been anticipating a good fight, noting that the commander was very strong, he had expected something that would leave them both in wounds. He had expected teeth for teeth, fist for fist. A hell of a fight, he had excepted something brilliant, something that would make him fear, resist, call of Xea’s help.
Something like his fight with the Mech monster, something brilliant. But then, he was getting a sack of power he punched like hell.
Irony!
Or perhaps karma was real?
Julian remembered how he fought the Drayyorsain commander. How he had been brutal, how he had ripped him apart like it was nothing.
Julian remembered it.
The short fight.
Well, the same thing was happening to the this commander facing him.
Now, he was making him look weak in front of his subjects, he was reducing his status of a very powerful commander to someone that was weak.
He was reducing him to a feeble soul.
Both soldiers paused, staring at Julian. Drayyors soldiers were afraid at first as they wanted to run away but Julian halted them, bemused with their action even.
He was trying to save them, why the fuck were they running.
"Don’t fear!" he shouted. "I’m on your side!"
