CHAPTER 56: MESSIAH...

The soldiers paused and looked at Julian who was now grinning in his helmet.

"I’ve come here to rule you all."

The Drayyorsain soldiers gasped and exchanged glances, some were even gasping.

The soldiers shouted and raised their hands up, hailing him.

The citizens of the planet were now coming out of their hiding places, peering to the skies, trying to see who was there.

Julian raised his hands up.

"It’s I, Knight Julian. Your previous governor was beheaded by the planet Hellfott commander."

They gasped and some little children were beginning to shed tears.

"Don’t believe me?" he asked. His audience did not reply. They were simply thinking.

How could their governor be dead?

"Go bring the dead governor inside," he said to the soldiers.

About three ran into the building and immediately they were with the governor, holding him by the hands, blood still drooling from where his head ought to have been.

Julian pointed to the headless governor.

"He," he pointed to the opposition commander who was enveloped by his soldiers, "he killed the governor and took his head."

His head?

Julian squinted his eyes.

He had completely forgotten.

The governor’s head. Where did the commander keep it?

Julian said to the soldiers who had brought the governor:

"Drop him."

They dropped the headless governor.

"Go inside, to the room, and look for the dead governor’s head."

The soldiers nodded in the affirmative and went into the building.

They were well after the governor’s head.

Julian turned to the soldiers who were protecting their commander. He snickered.

"You guys better let him be so that you don’t be the victim."

The soldiers were confused. They just couldn’t leave their commander to be beaten by some god-looking stranger, they had to fight back.

Brandishing their swords in the air, they faced Julian and said:

"If you’re going to fight our commander, then you’ll have to fight us first."

Julian, still in the sky, looked far ahead. If he wasn’t exaggerating, there were up to five hundred soldiers sprawled up ahead, staring at him, each holding powerful weapons.

Julian looked at the Drayyorsain soldiers.

They had been reduced to about two hundred.

Two hundred?

There was a chance they could take on all these people. He was very strong by the way, so it shouldn’t be a problem.

He was sure to be taking them out in ease if he could be very brutal as he had been this whole time.

The other soldiers were still finding the head of the headless governor. Julian looked at the opposition soldiers again and then, he thought more deeply. He couldn’t kill them off like that.

It would be foolishness.

Foolishness.

Drayyors were low on soldiers and he was certain their citizens couldn’t fight, as all they did was hide.

At this point, it was up to him to decide.

What if he killed all the soldiers? It basically would be useless, as he was just wasting life that he could use.

Julian was on to something here. What if he wouldn’t kill them all?

There were five hundred facing him. What if he killed a hundred, just to make the others fear?

Of course, he wouldn’t actually kill the hundred alone. The Drayyorsain soldiers would help.

But then, it was a good plan.

He would have to kill the commander first and then try to kill the governor of their planet so that they would fear him.

But then, he would see how things...

He somehow had to trigger the governor...

Julian suddenly had a plan. He wasn’t sure if the governor could see him but he would see how it goes.

He hoped his plan worked.

The fate of a planet lied in his hands.

He was now their messiah.

He was their savior.

Julian dashed through the multitude of soldiers trying to protect the commander.

With that motion, he also shouted at the Drayyorsain soldiers.

"C’mon!"

With that wording, he cascaded onto the crowd of soldiers. He was coming with a kick and when he landed, it was with sending his right leg at the head of a Hellfott soldier.

The soldier’s head was twisted in an ugly position, the bones popping with a crllnnkkk! sound.

Some soldiers paused to stare at the brutality.

Julian wasn’t hesitating. He had already summoned his Mech Rifle and before some soldiers could voice out a sound of pain, Julian had sent it into their mouths.

They slumped to the ground and just as they were doing that, Julian had targeted the throat of a soldier which he brutally shot.

Blood reeled in the air and like it had feathers, it splashed on another soldier’s face who was about to scream...

Julian let him scream before...

Kapow!

Shot him by the throat.

Drayyorsain soldiers had now run to his front, killing off soldiers like it was nothing.

The Drayyorsain soldiers fought like crazy, even surprising Julian who had never expected this from them.

One Drayyorsain soldier was chopping four soldiers’ heads off with such brutality. After that, he was on to another batch, sending the heads off.

Even females were among the soldiers and oh boy, they fought more gracefully than men. They had this liquid and fluid movement which was a joy to watch.

And Rehul, she was fighting very gracefully as always. Her large breasts and buttocks shoving the opposition soldiers away.

Of course, Drayyors were losing soldiers, but it was one every ten minutes on average, which to Julian was quite alright if they could get this done quickly.

Julian could have been a victim but the advantage he had was that he was in the Mech armor and by Mech armor he just wasn’t in any armor, he was in a ’Galactic’ Mech armor which made any bullet sent on him just bounce off like it was nothing.

Even larger bullets which he had been expecting to do a lot of damage just bounced off and when they fell, exploded right away.

And so, Julian went through the mass multitude of the soldiers’ bodies, trying to find their commander who was clearly trying to run.

Julian wiped soldiers’ heads off their bodies with his Mech Rifle. And just when he was starting to get tired, a glimpse!

A glimpse!

A glimpse of the commander.

Julian was ecstatic—in a vicious way.

It was time to end this bullshit.

He ran very quickly, kicking and punching soldiers out of his way, hitting them with the butt of his gun.

And then, two large-looking soldiers blocked his way. They looked very powerful and their aim was simple.

Stop Julian from getting to the commander.

Julian knew about it but they couldn’t stop him alright, nah, not when he was very close to his aim.

They came at him and what Julian did was simple. He pummeled them with a flurry of punches, leaving both battered and bruised.

And just when they thought they had it all, he summoned his Mech Rifle and...

Kaboom!

Right into their stomachs. They fell and just as they were doing so, Julian kicked them out of his way.

But then, there seemed to be a more larger problem.

It seemed he had been targeted and just when he thought he was free to ram the governor dead, twenty large dope-looking vehicles surrounded him.

Julian was stunned. He hadn’t been expecting this much of a resisting.

Why were they this desperate to stop him?

Why were they so desperate to stop him from getting to the commander?

There were over fifty soldiers in the vehicles. Julian looked around him. Drayyorsain were very much occupied with the opposition.

They were hell-bent on stopping them from getting to him.

They didn’t want them to get to Julian.

The person they were trying to stop only grinned under his helmet as he looked around him, surprised.

He wanted to be feared, to be seen as a threat, and at this point, that was exactly what was happening. He was being feared.

As he had always carried in mind, at least what he had learned from all this. Let’s just say an improved version of what he always carried in mind.

It was:

’When your opponent fears you before you start, then you’ve already won.’

To Julian, he hadn’t started.

He was only starting after chopping off the head of the commander.

And now, being encircled by vehicles? It honestly was nothing.

There was this ability of his he had never used before since he became the Galactic Knight but finally, NOW!, he could get to use it.

He checked:

[Abilities:]

[1. Gravity Slam]

Julian grinned.

Just when the opposition thought they had got him, he was surely getting out of it. He was definitely getting out of it.

He could literally just fly upwards but..., he decided he would kill them all.

He stood, in the middle of all those vehicles aimed at him. He stood in the middle, waiting, chuckling.

Gravity Slam?

Hell yeah.

Julian jumped up, and as he did so, they fired, thinking he wanted to escape.

But no, no, no...

Julian was going nowhere.

He was coming back..., back down.

Slam!

He punched the ground...
