CHAPTER 59: DOMINANCE

No matter how god looking Julian looked, he still needed to pick up exoin fragments and that now would be the problem.

There was a lot of dead soldiers here and who knew, what if he picked up all the chips from them, he would be getting a lot of fragments.

But it seemed weird that every dead body he had ever defeated seemed to have a chip.

Well, a chip came in different shapes and sizes and that was why it was called a chip.

A chip could he square shaped, oval, circle or even triangle.

It just depended on how one saw it. He was sure if he was to die too he would have chips on him.

He would later take the chips alright, but Julian decided to do so at midnight.

When everyone was asleep, he would come out and take them. He would also command that the dead bodies be left on the floor.

Them seeing him pick chips from dead soldiers would look diminishing.

Julian looked at the sky again and then, still leaving them watching, he flew to it.

He could breath anywhere at this point. The battle with the Mech monster and it’s legion back in space at miniga galaxy had made him certain.

And so he flew upwards, the winds kissing his face, Drayyorsains and Hellfotts looking at him with interest.

They were all having the same thought:

Was he going away.

Julian wasn’t actually. He just wanted at see how this galaxy would look like.

He reached the tip of the misty clouds and...

Whoosh!

He was out of the planet.

The soldiers and citizens were starting to get worried, but Rehul assured them.

She stood on a large half exploded spaceship. Now, they all could see her and so, she said to them:

"He’s coming back!, he only went to look at how outside this planet is."

"Oh," they all echoed and looked at each other.

They were safe then.

Rehul wasn’t so sure of what she had just said but then, she was sure Julian just went to look around. She was certain he would be back.

Drayyors soldiers and Hellfott soldiers exchanged handshakes, hugging themselves.

Most of them were saying.

"We didn’t do it, it was the governors and the commanders."

That seemed to have worked pretty fine because now they were exchanging hugs and handshakes.

"We are now brothers."

"We are now sisters."

"We are now an empire."

---

Julian looked at space. It was nothing like the one he came from. This was totally different from miniga’s.

It looked like chaos had been sketched across the stars. Giant chunks of rock floated like broken bones, orbiting dead planets that spun with red rings. The stars were closer, but they didn’t twinkle—they burned. Some were blue, some orange, some cracked in half like someone had punched them. Gas clouds swirled in weird shapes, glowing green like toxic mist.

It was quiet, yeah, almost scenic even, but it didn’t feel peaceful. It felt like something was hiding behind that silence, waiting. Like if you stayed out here too long, you’d either get a missile straight into your face, or a bomb right into your mouth.

Julian took a slow breath and sniffed the the ’airless air’ into his nostrils, looking at space.

This place certainly looked chaotic. He could see it already and if he was to survive here he had to be ruthless.

---

Julian had a warm bath. Everyone of the soldiers had helped in setting the city back as it was.

Julian had told them to get rid of the dead bodies but not literally.

He only told them to pack them all in a place, that later on, he would send some soldiers that would, after the dead bodies were in a spaceship, would drive it to space, a smaller spaceship behind.

So when at a particular place in space, they would leave it there, enter the smaller spaceship that came along, drive backwards a bit and then..., boom!

The spaceship would be exploded.

It was a really nice plan as that would give him time to take the chips in the night.

Now it was evening and he was in the governor’s special bathing room, sitted in a bath tub, naked, showering.

This would be a good time for a woman to show up but then, he was alone.

Good thing he was alone though as it gave him the liberty to think.

He thought about the weapons commander the Drayyorsain soldiers in mech had earlier told him about.

The awkward thing was that, she was never seen. Even for once, when the fight was taking place.

Thinking about it now, it really surprised him.

How was it possible?

Why wasn’t she seen.

He would ask as soon as he got of of this bath tub.

Some maidens had presented him with the usual bathing equipments before he entered here.

He took a sponge which he had earlier dropped the water. He used it to scrub his body now.

The sponge was a unique one. It had two sticks stuff (made of steel) at the bottom. Julian was only holding one to scrub his back and so, he didn’t understand what the other one did.

Still scrubbing his back, Julian touched the other stick stuff.

The sponge stuff suddenly stuck on his back. Julian was surprised. And just when he thought it would stop there, it began to scrub his back by itself.

It felt really good though. The stick-steel soft sponge was hitting the right spot.

He simply layed on his back and watched it work.

It was working so well.

’Crazy gadgets this planet has!’ he muttered.

---

Now he was sitting at a very large table in a quite large hall, plates of mouth watering foods in front of it.

Good looking also.

It was large dining table, with five chairs each, filling on both sides, ten all together. One was at the ends, for each that it, making it two, twelve all together.

Rehul was sitted by his left.

They weren’t the only ones at the table by the way. The soldiers in mech he had earlier met were present too.

Cups of wine were littered on the table, about eleven cups, each filled with red and dark wine.

Julian drank a cup and found it to be very sweet.

They ate in silence. Julian was now without his helmet and as the soldiers stared at him, they couldn’t hide the words:

"You’re handsome sir."

Julian ought to be strict and tough, noting that he was not only a planetary governor but then, an Emperor. He was the ruler of two planets.

But that didn’t stop him from being jolly.

"Thank you my good man," Julian replied.

The soldier grinned sheepishly.

Julian decided to ask:

"Where’s the weapon’s commander?, I haven’t seen her. It’s quite shocking actually."

The soldier smiled.

"Oh, she wasn’t around, she actually went to a meeting, representing this planet."

Julian made a face and squinted his eyes.

A meeting? Well, that quite a twist.

"To where?" Julian asked.

"To a planet ruled by women where men are despised. The ice planet."
