A thunderous roar echoed across the city as one of the Leviathans dove, tail thrashing through skyscrapers. Chitauri poured from its back like hornets from a ruptured hive. The creature hurtled toward the avenue where Hulk and Steve had made their stand, its massive jaw splitting open as plasma charges glowed within.

But Hulk wasn't running.

He bellowed in return, charging forward.

With a ground-shaking leap, Hulk launched into the air, colliding with the Leviathan's armored snout. Metal crumpled beneath his fists as he pounded away, roaring in tandem with the beast. Hulk clung to its skull with both hands and, with a thunderous grunt, wrenched its plated jaw sideways. The bone cracked. The Leviathan shrieked and began to spiral, crashing into a building before exploding in a pillar of fire.

Cheers erupted through the comms — but it was only the beginning.

Two more Leviathans emerged from the swirling rift above New York.

And this time, they turned toward the one man floating calmly in the center of the ruined street.

Liam.

Tony was in the vicinity and was actively thinking how to stop the two Leviathans without incurring much damage, when he saw him.

"He can't—"

The first Leviathan dove.

The beast's size dwarfed the buildings around it. Its jaws parted wide, ready to swallow Liam whole. It should have ended him in an instant.

But Liam didn't move.

He raised one hand — just one — and with a grunt, caught the Leviathan by this long nose. The sheer force of the impact cratered the street around him, sending cars flying like leaves. Dust and debris billowed outward in a cyclone. Yet Liam stood firm, one hand clutching the monster's face.

"No way..." Steve whispered.

The Leviathan struggled in the air, thrashing like a dragon caught by its snout. But Liam didn't let go. His body pulsed with energy.

And then he threw the Leviathan.

With a shout, he twisted his body and hurled the titanic creature overhead, sending it crashing into the side of a skyscraper, where it crumpled and writhed before collapsing in a heap.

Gasps filled the comm line.

But Liam was already moving.

The second Leviathan had changed course, flanking him from the rear. But Liam teleported midair, disappearing in a blink and reappearing on its back. With a flourish of his staff, he slammed it into the Leviathan's spine.

From his staff burst a golden wave of Prav's water magic — a dome of cascading rings that locked the beast's muscles in place, freezing its motions mid-flight.

Then Liam activated Sila's magic. Flames erupted from beneath his boots, launching him upward. Hovering above the beast, he summoned a ring of crimson swords and rained them down — Arc Slice, slicing through Chitauri still clinging to the Leviathan's sides.

The beast roared, partially breaking free — until Liam's palm glowed with Frey's earth magic.

He slammed it forward. Vines burst from thin air, wrapping around the Leviathan like a net of living iron. Sharp roots pierced its hide, locking it in place.

Then came the finale.

He twirled his staff in a slow arc, chaos energy spiraling outward from its core. The air around him darkened as he channeled a mix of all three Forspoken elements — fire, water, and earth — into one devastating sphere. It glowed black-red-gold, pulsating like a star on the verge of collapse.

He hurled it downward.

The impact split the Leviathan in half. A shockwave of fire and water slammed into the surrounding buildings, instantly vaporizing the creature in a blinding explosion.

When the smoke cleared, Liam hovered mid-air, unharmed.

Around him, embers drifted like snow. The city's defenders — Avengers, mages, and strangers alike — stared in stunned silence.

"He really has the blood of gods in him," the Asgardian muttered. "A warrior mage — rare even among the Nine Realms."

Liam lowered slowly to the ground. His eyes returned to normal, staff still warm in his grip. He looked up at the rift above them.

While there was chaos happening all around, something else was happening at the place where the whole farce had started. The Tesseract was still being guarded by the scientists. Two Black widows sent by Fury himself tried to ambush them but they answered with raining bullets.

Thus the SHIELD agents stayed away. They couldn't even be in the same room before being shot by these scientists who seemed to be controlled. Liam had wanted to try the scepter itself to take them down but he knew that doing so would take time and thus he decided not to take risk and just get rid of the mother ship.

The scientists stood shoulder to shoulder looking out for any potential threats from the wide balcony.

From the far wall, a shadow moved. It dropped down behind the furthest scientist without a sound. A gloved hand wrapped around his mouth, yanked him into the dark — gone.

Another turned just in time to see a blur of white and gray descend from the ceiling, upside-down, feet pressed to the steel above. Before he could scream, a rapid punch knocked him cold, and the figure leapt away, vanishing into the shadows once more.

A giant mechanical robot rolled through the vent shaft above and exploded outward in a hiss of steam. Atop it rode a young figure in sleek black-and-pink tech armor. With perfect coordination, the bot deployed a pair of web cannons from its shoulders, spraying two more scientists in tangles of energy-thread.

Two remained —ready to blow everything up.

They never even had enough time.

A taller figure crashed through the skylight with a grunt, moving with the kind of clumsy elegance only an older man could pull off. He hit the ground with a roll, sighing as he stood.

"Really hate glass entrances…" he muttered, mostly to himself, before webbing one scientist to the floor and swinging a lazy kick into the other's face.
