Translator Notes

Hello everyone, we’ve reached the end of this translation, and I just wanted to leave a note here for the record.

Honestly, this translation turned out to be more exhausting than I expected.

I'm not sure if it’s because I already have a history with other ASOIAF or HOTD translations, but I couldn’t enjoy the middle and the end of this story as much as I enjoyed the beginning. Still, I think that's normal.

For those of you who followed along and found this translation helpful in getting through to the end, thank you—thank you so much!

I apologize for any translation mistakes that might have slipped through toward the end of the novel. Since the final stretch was a bit rushed and became more extensive, I’m aware that some errors might have gone unnoticed.

I might continue translating another ASOIAF novel, but honestly, I need to be responsible with my choice and pick one that's truly good—something that avoids clichés and that I can really immerse myself in.
