Gasp! She's a Time Traveler Using Modern Tech to Improve Ancient Life
Chapter 68: Thoughts Before Release
CHAPTER 68: THOUGHTS BEFORE RELEASE
Tomorrow the novel will be released! I feel a bit anxious and excited.
The idea to write this book has been around for a while. A few years ago, I bought several history books about the Tang Dynasty and occasionally flipped through them. I was drawn to the Tang Dynasty’s brilliant culture and its majestic appeal to all nations, and my desire to write about the Tang Dynasty grew stronger until I finally started writing.
Because readers who like historical novels tend to be very detail-oriented and have strong historical knowledge, they’re not the typical casual readers, so I’m afraid of getting criticized for not writing well.
Therefore, before starting the book, I re-read the books I had previously bought about the Tang Dynasty, and prepared a lot of reference materials. Although I can’t achieve complete historical accuracy, I won’t be fabricating things either.
Actually, a week after starting this new novel, my old fantasy novel suddenly started gaining traction; its performance surged significantly. I hesitated for a long time, weighing whether to keep writing both or to finish the old one. In the end, I painfully abandoned the suddenly successful old novel and decided to focus my efforts on this new one!
If I don’t write a good book about the Tang Dynasty, it would be a disservice to all the historical materials I’ve read over the years.
I want to write a comforting Peach Blossom Spring-style farming novel, so the conflicts in this book aren’t intense, and I’ve scheduled only a few extreme characters. I just want everyone, after a tiring day, to relax while reading my book.
I read all the messages from every reader carefully, though I’m a bit socially anxious and don’t know how to respond.
Anyway, thank you to the readers who follow daily, leave messages, vote, and give rewards!
With the launch tomorrow, I’ll start with five updates!!! If the performance is good, I’ll add more updates!
Lastly, I’d like to ask for various recommendation votes, monthly votes, and most importantly, subscriptions! The money spent each month on legitimate subscriptions isn’t even the cost of a cup of milk tea, but it’s huge encouragement and motivation for me to keep writing.
I ask all readers to support legitimate subscriptions, thank you!
