CHAPTER 406: THOMAS’S REVENGE (PART-1)

His aura no longer resembled the broken youth who had been abandoned. It surged like a storm, carrying both the blessing of Apollo and his own unshakeable resolve.

At last, the gates of his clan appeared before him. Familiar yet foreign, they stood as a reminder of betrayal and disgrace.

But Thomas did not falter. His eyes, burning with vengeance and newfound power, fixed upon the gates.

The long-awaited reckoning had arrived.

His clan name was Tremari; although they weren’t said to be the strongest in the northern continent, they still have quite an ancient history with glorious times.

Even now, their name carried weight, and their ancestral grounds were filled with pride and arrogance born of that heritage.

Thomas had once been a shining jewel within this lineage. Born as the third young master of the Tremari Clan, his status should have guaranteed respect, pampering, and flattery. And indeed, in his earliest years, he was surrounded by admiration. Servants bowed lower before him, elders praised his potential, and even his peers looked up to him.

But all of that changed.

What was once adoration turned to disdain. Where once he was praised, now he was mocked. The warmth of family turned to cold indifference; the flattery of servants shifted to scornful whispers.

And now, after years of suffering and exile, Thomas returned. No longer the broken youth they had trampled, but a man reforged in fire.

The Tremari gates loomed before him, majestic and unyielding—just as they had the day they shut him out.

But this time, Thomas would not bow.

He with a determined mind, calmly and without stopping, went in through the main gate. He wasn’t the same as before; after suffering numerous dangers, he had changed.

The moment he stepped in, guards naturally noticed him and tried to stop him. But Thomas wasn’t here to chit-chat; he was here only for revenge, not to talk bullshit.

"Scram!"

Boom!

And instantly, his energy sent the guards flying with a single swing of his arm. This commotion quickly alerted the clan as more and more guards quickly came running to stop him.

"Who are you? How dare you attack the Tremari clan’s guards?" One of the captains bellowed.

Thomas’s lips curled into a cruel smile. "Who am I? You dogs don’t even deserve to know my name."

He stepped forward, and with every step, the ground trembled under the oppressive weight of his aura.

The guards charged, but Thomas didn’t even lift his hand this time. His killing intent alone rolled out like a storm, and suddenly—crack! crack!—their weapons shattered, their knees buckled, and one by one, they collapsed, gasping for breath as if crushed beneath a mountain.

"Pathetic."

His cold voice echoed through the courtyard, silencing every whisper.

Moments later, several robed elders descended from the sky, their expressions thunderous, their auras fierce. These were the true power of the Tremari Clan, figures that could rule over regions of the continent.

The leading elder glared at him, his voice booming like thunder. "Audacious brat! You dare spill blood at the gates of the Tremari Clan? Kneel now, and perhaps we’ll grant you a whole corpse!"

Thomas raised his head slowly, his eyes glowing with contempt. His words rang out clear, every syllable dripping with venom filled anger and hate.

"Kneel?" He laughed, the sound cold enough to freeze marrow. "Back then, you didn’t even spare me a whole body. And now you want me to kneel? Tremari dogs... you’re still as shameless as ever."

His gaze swept across their faces, and the elders froze. For the first time, they noticed the familiar features—the resemblance to someone they had once cast aside.

One of them whispered, his face paling. "Impossible... you’re—"

Boom!

Thomas’s palm struck out, and the courtyard exploded.

"Today," Thomas declared, his voice carrying over the ruins, "the Tremari Clan pays its debt in blood."

"You bastard is still alive and dares to come here. Since you aren’t afraid of death, then just die, you trash."

With that said, the group of elders quickly attacked; they didn’t show any hesitation or try to hold back, as they already felt the aura on Thomas had reached a half-god realm equal to them.

Divine flames, howling winds, and crushing earth energy erupted in unison, shaking the clan grounds. They didn’t treat Thomas as a junior; they attacked as if he were a mortal enemy.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

The sky cracked, the ground quaked, and the Tremari Clan’s main courtyard turned into a battlefield of gods.

Yet Thomas stood calm, his figure tall like an unshakeable mountain. With every swing of his hand, entire attacks shattered. With every step he took, an elder was hurled back, vomiting blood.

Within a dozen exchanges, the once-proud Tremari elders were reduced to broken bodies littering the courtyard.

This commotion finally shook the entire clan.

"What’s happening? Who’s attacking us?" From the ancestral hall, the Clan Leader himself descended, his aura sharp and majestic. Beside her stood a striking woman, her face cruel and beautiful—the second wife, Thomas’s stepmother, the root cause of his downfall.

The clan leader showed a shocked expression as he saw his son wrecking havoc, but before he could say anything.

The stepmother’s cold eyes narrowed. "So, the bastard dares return... You should have stayed dead."

Hatred flared in Thomas’s eyes like wildfire. "You." His voice dripped with venom. "Today, I’ll repay you first."

Thomas instantly attacked, not to say anything; he only wanted to kill.

Without another word, Thomas moved. His figure blurred, surging forward like a bolt of destruction.

Boom!

The ground cracked apart as his palm tore through the air, aiming straight for her throat.

His movements were so fast even the clan leader, who was at the peak of the half-god realm, couldn’t react until Thomas had reached his wife’s neck.

Bang!

The courtyard shook as Thomas slammed her into the ground like a ragdoll. The force cracked the stone tiles beneath her, spiderwebs of destruction spreading outward.

She couldn’t even finish her arrogant sneer. Her eyes bulged in disbelief, her lips trembling, but before a single word escaped, her mouth filled with blood. She coughed violently, crimson spilling down her chin, her elegant demeanour shattered in an instant.

Thomas loomed above her, his hand pressing her down with merciless strength, more like a predator crushing prey than a man against a woman. His eyes burnt with killing intent, his aura suffocating like a wild beast.

The entire clan froze, horrified.
