Chapter 167: Nathan

As a spy for the Fatui, Nathan, along with Igor on Watatsumi Island and Ksenia on Narukami Island, was one of the first group of people to arrive in Inazuma.

However, compared to the arrogant Igor and Ksenia—who didn’t even bother to conceal her identity before arriving at Watatsumi Island—Nathan was far more cautious.

He only knew that the Fatui had recently gained a Twelfth Harbinger, but he didn’t know who it was, their codename, or even what they looked like.

That was one of the reasons why he addressed the other as "superior" instead of "Ausbilder."

"Hm? You’re not a subordinate of Scaramouche? Didn’t he just come by a few days ago?"

At first, Bai Luo was a bit surprised, but he quickly understood.

After all, La Signora was originally from Mondstadt, so it made sense that she would develop some subordinates there.

One could say that the intense fighting between the Resistance and the Shogunate Army was not only due to the hatred between the two but also partly due to Nathan’s influence.

Sometimes, just shouting a slogan that resonated with emotions could reignite the fighting spirit of those who had already lost hope.

During rest periods, singing a Mondstadt ballad could greatly boost morale.

Such behavior did not arouse suspicion from the upper ranks of the Resistance; rather, it made them trust him even more.

The sabotage of the wards was merely a move to intensify conflicts when a ceasefire occurred without cause.

Maybe it would leave traces of his doings, but that was his mission, and he had no choice but to carry it out.

A long, drawn-out "oh," carrying multiple meanings.

Bai Luo, now fully understanding the situation, put away the Sunsetia fruit in his hand and gave his first order.
