The next morning, Lu Li woke up thirsty. He looked down and saw Chiori and Lynette asleep, their weight on his arms. Yesterday had been a wild night. After so much... irrigation, it was no wonder he was thirsty...

He gently stroked their faces, his expression soft. He had never imagined he would be so lucky. But, although he was happy, the toll was significant. He slowly sat up, his back aching, and went to get some water.

When he returned, they were already awake. Chiori yawned, her gaze proud and lazy. Lynette was blushing, her cat ears twitching.

"Brother Lu Li..."

"Lynette..." He sat down and pulled her into his arms. "Don't be nervous. I will be responsible..."

Chiori watched them silently, sipping her water. Her pride wouldn't allow her to be as clingy as Lynette, but if he were to pull her into his embrace... she would accept it with a feigned composure. Lu Li's strong physique, honed since childhood, was just right for holding both girls.

He felt both happy and conflicted. This damned golden finger was destined to mess up his love life. And... what if Lord 'Father' Arlecchino found out? No, she probably already knew.
