Ryen tilted his head and asked, while Hu Tao retorted impatiently,

"We're just at the critical part! How can you stop now?"

Ryen shrugged.

"But these are master-level spells, only usable with a master-level staff. And master-level staves aren't like common items you can just pick up anywhere!"

At his words, everyone's gaze fell silently on the Thunderous Staff in Ryen's hands. They couldn't understand how Ryen could say such cold, cutting words with that warm thirty-seven-degree smile of his.

Ryen laughed, hugged Ganyu, and gave her a quick kiss.

"This is thanks to your luck, Ganyu. If it weren't for you, we might not have gotten the master-level staff, let alone the epic accessory."

Ganyu blushed slightly, embarrassed to be kissed in front of so many people. Yet Ryen only became happier—the surprise Ganyu gave him was incredible. Leaning close to her ear, he whispered,

"Tonight, I'll reward you properly!"

"Mm…"

Immediately, Ganyu's face turned red. Even though they were practically an old married couple, words like that always made her feel shy… and thrilled!

"Anyway…"

Jean shook her head.

"Master-level staves are exactly what we need to pursue. What if we actually find one? At worst, we can always upgrade one later. It's never bad to understand them ahead of time; we can plan our spell setups right away."

Hearing this, Ryen cleared his throat and spoke softly:

"Master-level spell… Glacial Cloud Chariot!"

"Above the glacier, the tower shines within, the evil Snow Maiden guards her palace, blessed by snow, protected by power, cursed to eternal solitude…"

"That's the incantation of the Glacial Cloud Chariot…"

Rosalyne froze at the words. Snow, palace, curse, solitude… it all felt eerily similar to the Cryo Archon herself.

"The Snow Maiden… is that the Snow Queen monster?" Rosalind asked, her expression complex.

Ryen nodded.

"The Glacial Cloud Chariot and the Ice Guard Legion both represent the Snow Queen. Of course, it's not meant to reference the Cryo Archon directly."

Rosalyne fell silent, deep in thought. If the Cryo Archon could wield a master-level Cryo staff along with these master-level Cryo spells… her power would increase even further.

"So, what does this master-level spell actually do?"

Ningguang asked curiously.

Ryen replied,

"All master-level spells are mandatory law-based spells. 'Master-level' means immense power. The Glacial Cloud Chariot summons icy clouds. These clouds block ranged attacks, knock back any creature that touches them, and deal significant damage."

"Additionally, by stepping on the icy clouds, you can ascend more than ten meters into the air, then rapidly descend, dealing massive damage to everything around you."

"Almost certainly lethal…"

"This is a powerful Cryo spell that combines defense, flight, and offense. Honestly, I really wanted this spell for myself," Ryen said with a hint of regret, shaking his head.

Everyone was slightly impressed. Just the ability to block ranged attacks alone already made the Glacial Cloud Chariot absurdly strong. Not to mention, Ryen said it dealt massive damage and was almost certainly fatal—this spell was absolutely overpowered. Definitely worth equipping!

Ryen continued,

"Next is the Pyro spell Flame Jets—it generates five columns of fire around you, useful when facing groups of monsters. The damage is high, but personally, I don't like it."

Although Ryen didn't favor the spell, the others didn't mind. This was the kind of self-preservation attack spell that could immediately turn the tide of a difficult battle. Well-utilized, it could completely reverse a fight. Definitely worth equipping!

"The Pyro spell Scorching Tear Cloud rains fire over a designated area, dealing continuous damage. However, I don't recommend equipping this one."

"Because it could harm yourself. Even though the damage is very high, used poorly it's like hurting your enemy a thousand while losing eight hundred yourself."

"Also, after dealing damage, the tear rain applies a continuous burning effect. If you're confident in your skills, you can try it—it's still a large-area battlefield-cleansing spell."

Ryen paused, then continued,

"Finally, the master-level Necromancy spell…"

"This spell is actually, besides the Glacial Cloud Chariot and the Black Hole, the most practical and powerful master-level spell. In some ways, it even surpasses those two."

"It creates a dark barrier in a designated area, filled with shadowy tentacles. It deals continuous damage every second, and also blinds enemies."

"Once trapped inside, death is almost certain."

"This spell is excellent. I strongly recommend that if you have a master-level staff, you equip one."

Everyone nodded in agreement. Continuous damage, plus blinding enemies—essentially forcing them to stand as helpless targets while taking hits. Cast the spell, stay at a distance, and do nothing; the enemies can't see and are still attacked.

This was the ultimate spell for mages: elegant, yet lethal.
