Girl Get Rid Of That Jerk (Williams and Shawn)
Chapter 480
On the other end, Brooklyn hesitated, her voice not quite the same as usual-soft, stammering. "Y-yeah... I already ate."
Allison: "..."
So Brooklyn heard it too?
Oh no. No, no, no.
Allison''s cheeks burned even hotter. This was all Joshua''s fault-he just knew how to drive her crazy. That kneeling kiss had left herpletely dazed.
She''d totally forgotten she usually had dinner with Brooklyn almost every night. Brooklyn must''vee to call her at dinnertime.
"...Okay, then." Allison stuttered, quickly ending the call.
After dinner, Joshua wouldn''t stop pleading, trying to convince Allison to let him stay over.
He promised, again and again, that he wouldn''t try anything-he just wanted to hold her and sleep.
Allison remembered how he''d had to hide from Linda earlier, acting like he was some dirty secret. That left her feeling a little guilty, and in the end, she caved and let him stay.
That night, Joshua really did behave himself. He just held her, nothing else.
In the middle of the night, half asleep, Allison kept feeling him messing with her. First, he''d gently squish her cheeks, then pinch her nose, then sneak a kiss.
It tickled.
She knew there was no way Joshua could actually keep his hands to himself. Whatever. She was honestly too exhausted to care.
She slept like a rock-no dreams, no waking up, just deep, uninterrupted sleep.
It was the weekend, so there was no need to rush to thew firm, and no rm to drag her out of bed.
When Allison finally opened her eyes, the clock on the wall said ten.
Her whole body felt weak and achy. She shifted a little and saw an arm wrapped around her from behind.
She always slept on her side, with her back to Joshua. He had one arm tucked under her neck, the other resting on her waist, his body pressed close, holding her tight.
Honestly, it was the perfect position. With her shoulder propped up, he could slip his arm under her without it going numb.
They were so close, her back fit perfectly against his chest.
He was still asleep.
No surprise after what had
yesterday afternoon (three
seriously), he probably needed the fest.
Allison carefully lifted his hand off her waist, trying to slip out of his arms.
But just as she started to get up, his arm tightened, pulling her right back in.
"Stay with me a little longer," Joshua mumbled, his voice rough and sleepy, impossibly sexy.
"It''s already ten," Allison said quietly.
"Come on, just a little longer. We''ve got nothing to do today anyway."
Allison sighed and gave in, snuggling back down for another round of sleep.
The next time she opened her eyes, it was already eleven-thirty.
Almost lunchtime.
She sat up and nudged Joshua. "It''s eleven-thirty. Get up and wash up, seriously. Stop sleeping."
Morning sunlight filled the room, shining over his ridiculously
handsome face as he slowly opened his eyes. He looked even more attractive when he was still half-asleep, and Allison felt her
breath catch.
How could someone look this good just waking up? Even in broad daylight, he was still tempting her.
She quickly looked away—if she kept staring they''d end up in bed again and funch would never happen.

Trying to sound serious, she said, "Stop sleeping, get up already."
Joshua''s voice was low and husky. "Why''d you turn away?"
Allison grabbed her pajamas. "I''m going to wash up."
The moment her feet hit the floor, the soreness in her legs hit her full force. She nearly stumbled.
Joshua grinned. "Careful, Allie."
Allison red at him. “That''s your fault."
He''d been way too much yesterday-relentless, strong, and three times in a row.
Who could possibly survive that?
