CHAPTER 122: EMMA THE LIAR

Emma got the eighth spot to perform. Kenny was right before her, smugly boasting to her before he went on stage.

"I know all the judges, and they will definitely give me high scores. You just wait and see; you will make a fool of yourself!"

On the other hand, she wouldn’t back down. "Only a fool like you would make a fool of himself!"

When he performed on stage, his act relied entirely on brute force. The broken boards looked like they were pre-marked and broke with the slightest touch. Even so, he still made several mistakes.

Watching this, she snorted with disdain—he was hopeless.

Under everyone’s gaze, they had no choice but to give her a decent score. It turned out higher than Kenny’s.

The competition soon ended, with Emma rightfully claiming first place and advancing to the next round.

During the award ceremony, John grinned through gritted teeth, the smile looking worse than crying on camera as he presented the award to Emma.

He couldn’t understand how she had improved so rapidly in such a short time; her talent was simply terrifying.

In truth, Emma had an extremely high natural talent, but Niki had also given her some special training sessions.

A top taekwondo expert, partnered with a highly talented taekwondo student, would surely result in a winning combo.

After receiving the trophy, Emma happily shared the good news with Cecilia, Niki, and Alex.

After replying to each message, it was almost time to leave school.

"This is a classroom; the teacher said I could wait here for my brother!"

"You have a brother?"

That was news to him. If he had known she had a brother, he would never have let him off easy.

"Yes, my brother is in the elite class~"

However, he didn’t believe her words at all and sneered.

"First, you said your father is the business tycoon Steven Lawrence; now, you’re claiming your brother is a genius from the elite class. You might as well be called Emma the Liar!

"If I were Steven, I’d abandon you and make sure to toss you far, far away!"

Hearing the word "abandon," Emma’s eyes filled up with tears instantly. She could normally fight back against any bullying and wouldn’t be affected by these kinds of people, but Steven was her weakness. Hearing such words always saddened her.

Seeing her vulnerability, John looked at her in satisfaction and said, "Get out quickly; you’re not welcome at our kindergarten!"

Just as he finished that sentence, a deep and icy voice came from the doorway.

"Who are you telling to get out?"
