Global Awakening: Apocalypse Ender's Chronicle
Chapter 746: Raze’s Conversion
CHAPTER 746: RAZE’S CONVERSION
Springriver Manor.
The clang of metal rang softly as Raze flexed her gauntleted hand...
It was always like this when she had to feed Roan. She would have to visit a secluded area where she could cook peacefully for Roan, her partner.
Roan had already gotten big, and his appetite had obviously changed.
Even if this Dragon could also eat Zombie Cores, it doesn’t mean that Raze would just feed her precious companion with cores every day.
That would be torture, and she could never let that happen at all.
Anyway, Roan had just finished devouring almost a hundred pounds of meat that Raze had roasted in the fire pit.
After that, the young Dragon curled back and turned into her tattoo. He was satisfied and sleepy. His rest meant her turn now.
Outside, Raze could see many other Survivors starting their Conversion process to ensure that they have enough points to win something in the Auction.
It was quite fun to see...
All across the plaza, she could see some flashes of light as various items disappeared after being scanned.
The survivors brought up crates from their inventory. Some were full of junk or what they hoped wasn’t junk, while there were also items that seemed to be valuable.
Raze couldn’t help but feel curious as she watched them in their conversion process.
"Let’s go! Come on, baby! Don’t fail me now... Please give me 100 points!" a tall, hairy man yelled, as he scanned his axe...
Unfortunately, it seemed terrible. Even without seeing the system notification that he received, the conversion rate of the axe must be really low based on his expression.
"Fifteen?! What in the world! It’s only damaged a little! Bro, I was saving that since week 3!" he screamed in disbelief.
A few feet away, a woman held up a bow with a glowing string.
"This one’s a Master-Grade. I hope it gives more than 500 points" She muttered while also boasting to her friend, who doesn’t seem to have any item above that grade.
However, as soon as the scanner was used and dissolved the item into points, she looked stuned.
"One hundred eighty? That’s it?"
Her friend snorted. "You made it sound like it was Legendary or something. Did you forget how it was damaged by the Chief Spitter Zombie? I told you that you have to get it repaired first. The balance of that bow is off!"
The woman glared. "But how come its value was too low... It’s unfair."
Raze grinned and shook her head. "They should be patient in these times." she muttered.
The scanner was unforgiving. It would consider not just the quality or tier of the item. It would also check its durability, effects, physical appearance, or wear and tear.
At this time, she watched a man try to convert a shield that looked more patchwork than plate.
It was quite a popular item in the shelter, a buckler.
The points it gave were definitely low, but the man still smiled.
"Twenty-one points? Not bad... I have 30 of these..." The man said.
"Twenty-one? That’s actually decent." Raze muttered as he recalled that it was only worth 10 Zombies Cores or so.
However, she suddenly recalled that it came from the Ivory Gear Shelter and was redistributed in the Springriver River Manor after the portal was made.
Soon, the Survivors who had some Spirit Stones and even some small Mana Stones started converting them as well.
From their celebrations, Raze learned the average points they’d get.
A thumb-sized Spirit Stone gave about 30 Points while five times its size gave about 120 to 150 Points. It seemed appropriate.
However, the Mana Stones were different... Sometimes, even with the same size, they would give around 300 Points to up to 700 Points!
’It’s the purity or the amount of Mana still left in the stone, huh...’ Raze thought as she already felt excited to do her own conversion.
"Oooooooh..."
Suddenly small crowd gathered as one man practically danced.
"I KNEW I was saving that for a reason! Come to papa, Skyblade Sword that I got from the Flying Zombie Raid gave me 500 Points! Hahaha!" he shouted.
Everyone seemed to be on the edge as they were continuing with their scan.
At this time, Raze had already seen enough...
She decided to return to her room as she planned to do her conversion there instead of doing it in public like the others.
Before that, however, she checked her current progress to advance her main talent, the Dragon Knight Talent.
[ Current Dragon Core Fragments: 3/5]
[ Skyfire Dragon Commander Advancement Locked ]
Raze had Five Talents, and her Dragon Knight Talent was the only one she could advance.
If she collected all the Dragon Core Fragments she needed, her Knight status would change to a Commander.
"Just two more," Raze murmured, lips curling into a smirk. "Almost there, Roan."
After entering her room, she opened her Inventory and took out various items.
Thud... Thud... Thud...
Suddenly, the room was filled with a wild mix of loot from various raids, treasure chests, system rewards, zombie loot, and items she bought in the marketplace because she could.
At this time, she started with five Master-Grade weapons, twenty Spirit Stones of varying grades and sizes, a box of Mana Stones, and a single rare relic she took from Zombie Lord, and other random items and even accessories.

"Oh? I guess I have valuable Spirit Stones with me." Raze muttered after seeing the conversion of the 20 Spirit Stones of varying sizes and quality.
This feeling of guessing the value of the item being converted was quite addictive or entertaining...
’No wonder they look all excited.’ Raze mused.
